Halisin slipped into the role of dad like it was a slide at Splash Down 😂 Good on him, though! He proves that he *is* very capable of leading, but in a domestic sense. He has the heart of a father, a brother, and friend. We need more leaders with that mindset.
HE IS SO CUTE. In my last run (which I finalized today) I did romance both Halsin and Ascended Astarion, even though I wanted to end up with Halsin and told him I WILL GO WITH HIM, and wanted to break-up with Astarion (I already did end up with Astarion in my previous campaign so I wanted to make a change this time), Astarion didn't let me go and told me with tadpole gone I am forever his now and we will never be not together... So I had to end up with Astarion again because I had no choice xD but still in epilogue Halsin told me he misses me and still considers me as his lover and I got both hug and kiss scenes, he even gave me a wooden duck he crafted for me to keep it as a memorial from him (so cute). When I came back to talk with Astarion he told me he is always watching me... Which I kinda find hot... :D I have thing for possessive guys in games xD
I can’t help but love halsin, he all for nature and caring for others, he looks after orphaned children, and will happily get frisky in bed like how could you not love him, like if I was actually here and pick a character to spend the rest of my life with I think it would be halsin, I would befriend everyone else but he is honestly the best romance, don’t get me wrong doh love astarion he is best boy who needs all the love, but halsin is goals.
Remember when Halisin lamented that he is not fit to lead? I understood him, but felt that wasn’t true. He’s definitely not one for politics, but… he has the heart of a friend, a brother, a lover and a father. We need leaders who *actually* put that at the forefront of their cause. With this update, Halisin is the leader he wants to be! He is a friend, a brother, a lover and a father- to many children!
I was hoping for my epilogue with Halsin so much and now there it comes... it's bugued 😞 I had the conversation with him in the bedroom where you say you come with him and at the party, my Tav arrived alone and Halsin acted like they weren't together for these six months. I feel so sad. Seems to happen to other players. Do you know what could trigger these bugs ? Or if we can report it ?
I think unfortunately larian just forgot to add new lines to the epilogue to account for this new choice 😭 emailing their support is a good place to start!
@@darkurgediaries Which choice ? You had the "good' epilogue with Halsin, when your character arrives with him and a lot of other players too, so it's a bug but we don't know what triggers it 🥺 Yes I ll do !
It happened to me too. I was previously in a romance with Shadowheart but broke it off to be with Halsin but I think the game misregisters by the time you get to the epilogue and marks you as single. It was a pain to fix since I had to go all the way back, break up with SH before his confession, and redo all of Act 3...
Going by when you're not playing as Astarion, he starts really fitting into his own skin around the time Halsin is recruitable...so maaaybe do Origin Astarion and romance Halsin? Hmm...could be a thought. How long before Astarion's vampirism is a forced confession though?
@@masterduelest13 in the origin run it’s less of a confession and more of just accidental revealing of your bite move, when i played, there wasn’t an actual dialogue choice i just used bite in front of my party. I suppose you could bite him in private away from the party!
@@darkurgediaries As stupid as it is, 9/10 I don't even use the bite on an enemy as Companion Astarion, his dual blades due much more damage and the healing is mediocre at best. I don't know why what just popped into my head was..."he's not a companion yet, technically, but what would happen if I bit Halsin at the Tiefling party in Act 1?" Probably nothing good...between the drunken antics of my companions (save poor little sober Wyll), the recovering Tiefling from just... everything...and Halsin himself...Astarion would probably end up very, very dead.

I think you can get to act three while keeping it a secret, but then the game just acts like everyone knows when you get to act 3 it’s strange
