One of the things I love the most about your videos is listening to you rumbling your thoughts out loud, cause we all do this while working out but inside our heads. So it’s just so relatable and fun! Xoxo Patty 😘
I'm 38 years old and I just started taking working out seriously and I made my channel to hold myself accountable. I started off at 155lbs I'm currently 175 and my goal is 200 lbs. I stand at 6'1. Any encouragement, support and help would be greatly appreciated. I love your channel. You are an inspiration
@theleanbeefpatty you replied! Now that's awesome. I would be honored to have you in one of my streams. Can't really afford the gym right now and I don't have much equipment but maybe you can point some things on my form to correct so I get better results. I need to learn how to edit like you. I know it's a little different now because you're a bigger TH-camr but your older videos were funny. You are hilarious and have a great personality keep inspiring people like you did me! :)

Love that you show this side of your fitness journey - everyone has a 1st time trying a new or old workout and it’s hardly ever perfect the 1st time around
Happy Sunday Patty💜💯🌟My workout today was a literal walk in the park. I have no gym membership anymore, you don’t need one. You can walk by a McDonalds and pick up the garden rock 🪨 by entrance and start deadlifting. Follow that with some cardio in the Playplace and some running from the cops.
This is so relatable! I know the feeling of trying something new and having a bad workout all too well. As someone still kinda new to the gym it happens quite often for me 😂
Definitely had a few of these days in the gym lately. Always nice to be reminded I’m not the only one! Thanks for the content, Patty. You rock! 🤘🏻 just received the high-stim GM yesterday so looking forward to giving that a shot! Code BEEF for life! 😜
Aw Patty I’ve had the toughest week of my life, my workout was mid today but I did get through it too so you helped me acknowledge that. Thank you very much for that
Those sound effects goes hard love the way it’s blends with the video it’s makes it great and military press is great exercise it should be in our workout routine (wall handstand push ups or pike push ups for calisthenics workout routine ) also you look great here and stay strong stay creative stay hydrated ❤
The workout was amazing patty keep up the good work. Btw front squats are easy for the people who have short femurs as they are able to stay more upright while performing the squat so bc of that the bar doesn't fall off their chest but I think that by practicing u could do a 315lbs front squat but it would take sometime. About 5 months ago I started to learn the snatch and clean and jerk which are the 2 lifts of olympic lifting(it does include the front squat). It seemed pretty well but the technique was a bit complicated😅. That's all what I wanted to say. Take care and have a great day Patricia mam 💪💪👍.
Deeeefinitly not something I would normally do (or enjoy) but I figure 8 weeks is very small in the grand scheme so I think the most benefit for me is coming from just switching things up for a bit
yeah, doesn't seem very enjoyable either, i don't know if she's ever tried training on a fullbody or upper lower high intensity low volume program but it'd be interesting to see her do that
sorry for appearance related cmnt, but i havent watched in few months and noticed Patty your skin looks so smooth and lovely!! hope you've been happy and healthy, still looking as aspirational as always
Woke up, went back to bed, put pants on, cord retracted into pants, pushed out neck on shoulder press, neck retracted back into torso from pain, scap retracted on ground, pants came off then back on were found 🙌😅 Those meh days come by every so often, although it was mid, at least you showed up beef patterz. You're still steps ahead of where you would be if you didn't show up at all and closer to a pumpathon than a half crescent rainbow is to a pot of gold. Thnx 4 tha lolz
I love how casually you boast while doing hammer curls "Oh that's way to light!" The bros have mastered the art of picking a light weight and making it look heavy. Love you Patty. You're looking great. You are still my inspiration!
Re: The front squats: Try crossing your forearms to support the bar, palms down, left palm over right shoulder etc. The higher your elbows the better it will support the bar. You might find it more comfortable and easier to hold the bar.
When you're doing the strict (military) press, as you extend start pressing your head forward between your arms, so at full extension the bar is above or slightly behind the plane of your head. This should help with the strain on your neck.
Love watching you be silly. I have times when I just can’t get into the workout, or my body says I’m not into it. I rest and recuperate. Thank you for being you. Wouldn’t have you any other way.
First, list specific goals you want to achieve. What do you consider a healthy lifestyle? Next, find a coach or trainer who can help you reach your goals. Advice: discipline and consistency is more important than motivation. Second advice: learn as you go, getting feedback from every session helps you improve.
Start small if that’s what it takes. I see a lot of people try to 180 their lifestyle and are inevitably overwhelmed or quickly burned out. Start with one thing. If ur completely inactive maybe that’s going for a walk daily. Or you can start going to the gym a few times a week. Explore different types of workout programs or just go in and do whatever feels right at the start. Next work on your diet. Start eliminating things that don’t align with your goals (or moderate them). Don’t worry about slowing down, small steps are steps!! Or on the contrary some people thrive with the huge switch! I think they’re the minority. But if that’s the case, I recommend a push/pull/ legs program just because that’s what I like, and start tracking your macros so you know what you’re intaking. Get your maintenance calories with a TDEE calculator and either add or subtract depending on goals
Way to go Patty, muscle mommy working her arse off. watermelon is not a bad flavor. Glad to see you pushing till failure on the presses. Question for you in my experience if i used the belt too much i notice that the core seems to get weaker, does this happen to you? FYI the dancing was hilarious.
I've been thinking about changing my workout routine as well. About a year ago so many youtubers were on a Mike Mentzer fix. It definitely seemed like a fad and I couldn't understand how just doing 1 set of an exercise could be justified. However, I recently have been looking into his stuff for and it seems very interesting. So I will probably try it out soon.
Try it out!! You might love it! Plus 6,8,10 weeks trying a new program is worth it! You have many more weeks to try other things if it’s not quite for you
I started doing Front Squat as my primary leg thing and I really love them! I do 4x5 and then a "de-load" set of 5 long pause squats at my ending weight immediately afterwards, all at maximum RoM. It's helps a lot as I'm starting Olympic lifting for the first time, but I know most people don't like either of those things.

Looks like a lovely workout! Thank you for sharing. I wonder who creates your programs? If it is you yourself I would like to hear your philosophy and reasoning behind choosing the amount of sets and rest periods.
