Dr Soper.... I find the standard Columnar Transposition is not the same as you've explained? Can you please check that? The standard uses a key, and re-orders the columns based on the alphabetical order of the key... also it doesn't start by placing the plaintext from top-to-bottom, but instead, from left to right, and once the row is filled, we move to the next row...
Well, here's what I've learned. People who are good at programming and security know grammar and spelling/syntax for their spoken language(s) very well. With that said, he used the word "commonest" instead of "most common" in the intro. That's a mistake only a dumbshit would make and actually allow in their recording. I'm not gonna watch the rest.
This was absolutely brilliant. Thank you!
The statistical approach to analyzing cipher text was super interesting to learn about!

+McGavel1 "Commonest" is a superlative, look it up. People with Ph.D's tend to use more intellectual words
Or perhaps you mixed Columnar with the Rail-fence... the output for the rail fence should be : TEIBNTERHBGAGHOY
Jesus. You might as well spoke Chinese to me. That was extremely confusing. Great video though. thank you
