I like the score of Death Stranding, but Gris' touched my heart the most in comparison. It had the vocals and orchestra that is simplistic yet has a soul, and I genuinely like those types.
I know I'm a little late for this, but I just finished GRIS yesterday. And I couldn't stop thinking about it especially the visuals and the soundtrack. I just wanna say that you guys are what made this game phenomenal! Y'all deserve more recognition and views.
The gris soundrack is angelic. It makes me so calm when I listen to it, and it seems like I get close to god when I listen to it. This is what angels sound like.
I've never cried listening to a song before. Many times, I've come close, mostly with songs where I resonate with the lyrics. This, however, transcends spoken language. Today, a song brought me to tears.
I've never had five notes, five simple notes, hit me with such weight as Gris has. I feel, hearing the simple melody, as if I myself am in Gris' place, feeling her grief, and her tear rolls down my cheek while I mourn with her.
At 2:26 I think the lead Soprano was caught offgaurd. She actually bends the high note a little for just a few milliseconds and it's still relative to the key of the song. It's called a trill and whether it was done on purpose or by accident, it makes this recording beyond amazing for me. She also makes up for it and delivers some real confident, powerful sounding notes in the next lines until the end. Classic choral vibes and then boom, a wild, probably accidental trill. That's my favourite part. What follows makes it even better. From that point it's so foreign yet so familiar and it's like you're laying on clouds. The composer and/or band deserves more work. I swear this deserves an award.
This song touches deeply in our souls. I've never heard such a marvelous melody as this one. Berlinist and her choir of singers with mermaid-like voices are unique. An unforgettable song, indeed!
Utterly, stunningly beautiful. I’ve cried to many a song, but seldomly while playing video games. This composition made the game truly special in my eyes.
I cannot seem to understand why this drives me crazy. It breaks my heart and recollects me back. I can't help but cry while I listen to this. Art at its finest.
@@Ilwenray85 ah you were the one talking about the intended meaning of the story of gris. I'm glad to read you again. I liked to ask you, would you mind telling me something about it or provide me a link where I get more information about it?
Listening to this, I literally wept and sobbed with how beautiful this is. I couldn't see anymore. Your voices moved me so deeply and sang to parts of my heart I didn't even know I had. This is amazing! I've listened to this 10 time and I still struggle to find words to even describe the experience! Thank you so much! Music is truly is the language of the soul. Be blessed.
First of all, I want to say thank you, not just for the game but specially the music. Words never gonna tell how amazing was not only playing but discovering the game and the entire OST, it helps me in a difficult moment of my life and I feel really, REALLY GRATEFUL for all of you, thanks so much for change a part of my life that was broken, thanks for teaching me a lot with the masterpiece that you create. It's a gift that I carry with me in my heart and the one that I like to share with people who I love. Thanks so much and I wish you nothing but the best in each proyect you wanna fullfil in life

Their voices blend so perfectly. I always thought the original was sung by two people only? It seems so to me.
Hi mr, Grimm
You can hear the singer for Gris in the song. But for the older woman.. all the other women sound like her.
Berlinist deserves the award for best Score on Games Awards 2019
David Salas I know right!???!

Gris wouldn't be the same without Berlinist

I like to think that before there was any language, there was song, and God sung all things into existence. Imagine that
@@Rinesmyth thats beautyful

I still can't tell who's the voice actress of Gris.
Update: I finally found out! It's Gemma!

This is so, so beautiful, that word is almost too small for your singing.
I really hope to hear much more from you in the future.
