im not sure why you guys keep talking ONLY about blade/destruction characters with jade when she is obviously best with characters who can do aoe because it give her stacks faster and shes made for pure fiction. theres alot of characters that she can synergize with such as herta, himeko, serval, argenti, jing yuan, etc. and of course the destruction / follow up units.
but even then, follow up attack units like ratio and topaz dont really benefit jade as much because she gets stacks slower (because theyre single target) which means less damage.

You made good points about using with Erudition-like characters, but that's all for personal Jade damage, which is fine and why we put AoE follow up attack units in. One way helps the follow up attack unit, and your way helps Jade get stacks quicker. Both increase damage just for different characters😁
So through research and a friend's help: "One of Robin's traces does in fact boost the Crit dmg of follow-up attacks by 24%, but the issue is that it's so small of a buff that it barely means much. The price of making her universal" Taking this into effect, Robin is great but the buff is very minimal comparatively
As an f2p and started on boothill banner I got ff and Ruan with only 140 pulls and completed my break team now I just need jade so I can play pure pf!!!
lucky, for me i got clara at 75 pity on the robin banner and quit hsr for abit, then restarted for firefly and finally pulled her at 76 pity.. and i reached 40 pity for ruan mei but couldn't get her :(( my hsr luck is so bad lol, unlike what everyones saying my genshin luck is sm better
I wanted argenti but he's still fairly new and I already have Ruan Mei and Firefly so Im skipping even though I have the case of the itchy wishing fingers. I definitely want sparkle and acheron.

@ThatPool not really? I mean they made part of his kit dot for some reason , lowered his multipliers, and removed the healing as well, so he isn't the greatest for acheron apart from giving stacks
@@Hayem286 giving her stacks is why he is still BiS for Acheron, they lowered his multipliers on E1 only, its just that he doesnt heal anymore and he is just a slight upgrade of Pela/Gui in terms of debuff and DoT if u are playing him on any other team than Acheron

@@TheThiagoBR Jade and Clara will work nice together. Also, if you have Herta built, even better. If you don’t want to pull Jade (and you don’t have to), then save. Argenti needs a lot of investment and expensive teammates to compete in endgame. Not to mention, you have Clara in your Physical damage roster already. I’ll be honest (Ryft), saving might be your best option if you’re concerned about reaching endgame asap or whatever is meta. Not that Jade and Argenti are bad, but they just aren’t the best of the best or “broken” characters. You can take this from someone who has an invested Argenti with his Lightcone and a full roster of Follow-Up characters fully built (with 5* Lightcones) if it makes you feel better. At the end of the day, I would always tell anyone to do the research and GET MULTIPLE OPINIONS from multiple creators and other players before making a conclusive move for your account. I have all the harmony units so I think I want to go for a main damage dealer like argenti. Though I do have a FUA team (I don't have topaz) with herta. Would want Jade too hm Maybe just try pulling both. Wish me luck :D
The answer is easy, You have RM ? Yes , choice any and will work in PF. But for me Jade will have more pull value in the future than Argenti. But don't forget than this 2 characters mostly focus in pure fiction

However, outside of Pure Fiction, Follow-Up becomes a bit underwhelming when compared to most other team setups. Follow-Up really needs some of those buffs given within Pure Fiction in new characters to make Follow-Up a competitive option in other endgame content. I (Ryft) am hopeful and excited for Jade and Yunli to see how they can affect the state of Follow-Up in a positive way. For one thing, Yunli’s damage in the current beta is impressive. You are right about some other comps out there. I think people are just wanting more out of Follow-Up in general because initially, it was a very cool concept, and to see it suffer from Day 1 can be a little disheartening for the people who really try to make it work in other content besides Pure Fiction. I, for one, am one of those people you could say lol. Topaz is my favorite character in the game, and she did help Follow-Up by a considerable margin, but it wasn’t quite enough to compete with something else like DoT for example. However, I think she was the initial stepping stone to put Follow-Up on the right path (no pun intended). Anyways, thanks for the insightful comment. Love to hear others’ opinions. now jade release. pairing her with herta can get very up front dmg. in a short time. jade burst then skill then herta ult then jade follow up then next wave herta use her spin thing then jade use her follow up then continues, its a huge snowball. in pf is very good since u dont need to be in ur own turn to follow up

@@ghekko7917 It never hurts to save. Many people will probably tell you that Jade and Argenti aren’t the most meta units, but with the right teams, they can be just fine.

@@Shiroeel Your Break Effect team is perfect to say the least. As for another team specifically for MoC, Follow-Up is going to struggle more than other team options. Now Jade and Yunli especially may change that. It just depends on their personal power and synergies with other units. Personally, I (Ryft) find DoT teams to do pretty well in MoC and a team like Kafka, Black Swan, Guinaifen, and any sustain that makes the most sense for the situation you’re up against covers other elements you may need for the other side of MoC in most any given rotation. Between the 2, Huohuo is probably the better pull since she is a sustain and buffer. Argenti is great too, but pretty average when compared with the other DPS characters.

Would wait for an Acheron rerun in your situation based on your prioritization list, but also, think about picking up Aventurine or Fu Xuan since they are sustain units at a level of their own. I (Ryft) say this because Bailu won't be enough when you hit the absolute end-game content on top of the fact that you really want at least 2 sustaining units anyways to have one for each team. Acheron has a really F2P team setup using Pela, Sampo, and a sustainer (Bailu in your case) If you don't care about meta, pull Argenti if that's what you really want. Just don't have high expectations damage-wise if you are planning to main him. It's not bad either, there are just better options in that sense. I have him myself and like him a lot. She doesn't necessarily help other follow-up characters. For instance, in the video, we talked about Topaz and Jade. Jade uses follow-up characters to enhance herself to do a bigger follow-up attack. So follow-up may need a support in the future that buffs follow-up attack damage

Xueyi would be better to build since she's really good rn with so many quantum weak enemies and on top of that she could synergies with your herta and himeko in PF clara would be good if you have Aventurine
Honestly i would wait for aventurine rerun. Houhou gobbles skill points. So unless you run sparkle or a bunch of sp positive chars,houhou wont help you survive better. Id build gallagher instead or smth
@@Chad-bc9vi I might be biased but I really dont like houhou. And it depends on the teams you run. If you built gallagher for acheron, follow up teams or break teams and have any other limited sustain OR planning to get aventurine o already have him i would skip houhou. Plus theres another fire abundance incoming very soon. Id save jades. New units tend to be better than the old ones The main reason is - shes sp unfriendly at best. So I would pull her only if 1. you dont have 2 5 star sustains - either loucha or fu xuan or aventurine. And I find the latter 2 abundant for any account. 2. If you know how to properly play and manage skill points consumption because if you cant apply her e every 2 ratotions shes literally worse tahn gallagher 3. If you dont have sp negative units for dps like imbibitor lunae and such or if you have sparkle to offset skill points consumption. Like. Houhou can -kinda- help you in fights with lots of enemies debufs like Kafka's boss dominate ability. She can help you resist it. But ask yourself if 145-180 pulls is WORTH it if you can just rerun it a couple of times She can be useful in teams that want more ultimates but I still only see that value in a perfect Argenti team (argenti, houhou, sparkle, tingyun) And argenti himself is niche character at best Shes somewhat useful in kafka dot team but still not mindblowing I rarely use her even tho I have her. I would not pick her over gallagher myself and i would not pick her over fu xuan or aventurine in 19 cases out of 20.

Why are you guys recomending jade with single target follow up characters or only life steal characters? She obviousky works better with other erudition characters or other AoE characters (besides blade and jingliu) like clara
Yes, more AoE is better for Jade specifically, but that doesn’t mean you can’t run Topaz or Ratio with her either. Clara is a great option like you stated. Jade will be fine with Topaz mainly because Topaz increases all follow-up attack damage, but she also hits frequently with Numby. Focusing too much on Jade’s one follow-up mechanic instead of the team as a whole could result in damage loss in specific situations. If you’re running Path of Elation in a Simulated Universe run, Topaz, if you have her, is not a “bad” choice. Even Argenti would be good with Jade if you were to come across the blessing that considers your Ultimates as follow-up attacks. With or without that blessing, he works with her anyways since he hits multiple targets often. There’s just so many different things that could work, but it’s not like single-target units “won’t work” with Jade. It just means building up to her follow-up attack slower. She has other damage in her kit as well.
@@gachainteract I see how she could work well in the simulated universe with a single target unit like topaz, but in any other gamemode you guys need to consider that she is essencially a sub dps, even more than clara or hunt march 7 could be. So she needs to focus in launching her follow up as many times as possible considering both her ultimate and her recomended planar sets buffs her follow ups

And get E1 for made hunt characters relevant in them team is not worth it.
In one hand I do want Jade for punishment in the name of the moon, but in the other hand something tells me that I should go for Jiaoqiu on 2.4

If you aren't struggling in PF I'd suggest waiting for Jiao Que he'll replace your guinaifen in Acheron team and boost it greatly

Both jade and argenti are very niche and very mid no matter how pretty. Theyre an afterthought
She doesn't seem like a QQ DPS upgrade.

Xueyi would be better to build since she's really good rn with so many quantum weak enemies and on top of that she could synergies with your herta and himeko in PF clara would be good if you have Aventurine

Huohuo for sure. A good sustain like Huohuo is great, and Fu Xuan and Aventurine are even better

Honestly i would wait for aventurine rerun. Houhou gobbles skill points. So unless you run sparkle or a bunch of sp positive chars,houhou wont help you survive better.
Id build gallagher instead or smth

@@Chad-bc9vi I might be biased but I really dont like houhou. And it depends on the teams you run. If you built gallagher for acheron, follow up teams or break teams and have any other limited sustain OR planning to get aventurine o already have him i would skip houhou.
Plus theres another fire abundance incoming very soon. Id save jades. New units tend to be better than the old ones
The main reason is - shes sp unfriendly at best.
So I would pull her only if
1. you dont have 2 5 star sustains - either loucha or fu xuan or aventurine. And I find the latter 2 abundant for any account.
2. If you know how to properly play and manage skill points consumption because if you cant apply her e every 2 ratotions shes literally worse tahn gallagher
3. If you dont have sp negative units for dps like imbibitor lunae and such or if you have sparkle to offset skill points consumption.
Like. Houhou can -kinda- help you in fights with lots of enemies debufs like Kafka's boss dominate ability. She can help you resist it. But ask yourself if 145-180 pulls is WORTH it if you can just rerun it a couple of times
She can be useful in teams that want more ultimates but I still only see that value in a perfect Argenti team (argenti, houhou, sparkle, tingyun) And argenti himself is niche character at best
Shes somewhat useful in kafka dot team but still not mindblowing
I rarely use her even tho I have her. I would not pick her over gallagher myself and i would not pick her over fu xuan or aventurine in 19 cases out of 20.

@@noVa-oq4pe Jingliu will most likely still be a while since she just ran in 2.1 not too far back. She’ll return probably near the end of 2.X or the beginning of 3.X.

Why are you guys recomending jade with single target follow up characters or only life steal characters?
She obviousky works better with other erudition characters or other AoE characters (besides blade and jingliu) like clara
Yes, more AoE is better for Jade specifically, but that doesn’t mean you can’t run Topaz or Ratio with her either. Clara is a great option like you stated. Jade will be fine with Topaz mainly because Topaz increases all follow-up attack damage, but she also hits frequently with Numby. Focusing too much on Jade’s one follow-up mechanic instead of the team as a whole could result in damage loss in specific situations. If you’re running Path of Elation in a Simulated Universe run, Topaz, if you have her, is not a “bad” choice. Even Argenti would be good with Jade if you were to come across the blessing that considers your Ultimates as follow-up attacks. With or without that blessing, he works with her anyways since he hits multiple targets often.
There’s just so many different things that could work, but it’s not like single-target units “won’t work” with Jade. It just means building up to her follow-up attack slower. She has other damage in her kit as well.
@@gachainteract I see how she could work well in the simulated universe with a single target unit like topaz, but in any other gamemode you guys need to consider that she is essencially a sub dps, even more than clara or hunt march 7 could be.
So she needs to focus in launching her follow up as many times as possible considering both her ultimate and her recomended planar sets buffs her follow ups

But for Moc he need Huo Huo Tingyun + other support , cuz the ulti of 180 energy is the real damage.
