1:27:48 Huh, quite surprising to hear this in a post-apocalyptic story as I'd got the distinct impression these are the very people a lot of authors of these sorts of stories are targeting 🎯 Once I've understood a story is a justification for gun nuttery/survivalism/prepping I quit post hast 🏃🏽♂ as they're BIGLY like listening to a preacher 🙊 So yeah 👀
Maybe some, but this is a different caliber. Check out Into The Forest, Station Eleven, The City Not Long After, or The Fifth Sacred Thing if you want an apocalypse with a heart.
@@PossumblyNot Always looking for new, so sure I'll check them out. Kinda doubt there'd be many snowflakes left post apocalypse, so "with a heart" could be too much heart. What I like is normal-ish people finding themselves having to cope with that situation.
I enjoyed listening to the smoky, middle - aged voice of the narrator. Although I listened to this story in the early morning, it would provide an enjoyable pace to a stroll, too.
Here I is th-cam.com/video/LGky_Y9gCUA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=YdXVj3wtO-BkvNxh I make some of them using AI for my channel, unfortunately alot of ppl didnt like them so I stopped lol
Thank you for your feedback. The version uploaded is the 1997 abridged edition, which is shorter than the full version. I apologize for any confusion. If there's enough interest, I'll look into sharing the unabridged version in the future. Thank you for your understanding and support!
when a story is narrated such as this, it places you in the story, well done silver tongue
One of the best recently written short stories I've heard in a while.
This isn't recent
Wow! Narrator is spot on. Three thumbs up.👍👍👍
Ah mutant
Same narrator from the Acts of Caine great Sci fi series.
As Leveraction3 said, this guy has a silver tongue! After a narrator like this, how can anyone stomach an AI ?
This is an excellent story..beautifully read
Have not read the book and didn't see the film, however this was a splendid example and will sub if there is more to come.
Many thanks
A wonderful story. Brought me to tears. It's about Hope.

It was great story that was beautifully narrated. Would really love to read more and follow the postman's further adventures.

I think it's a good story 👍🇮🇪 from CMC.
Great story, Thank you
Good narration and thank you.
Great story. I enjoyed it immensely. Reminds me of a movie from the 80’s

I find it ironic that this is a very short novel, yet a very long movie.
The original classic sci fi story by David Brin. Beautifully narrated.
😅 32:36 should I walk down to the dock?
Enjoyed that story

@@StorySoundapocalypse Thank you so much, dont listen to them. these are beautiful!!. dont let anyone stifle your creativity!!
Narrator is immersive
This is.. two hours and forty two minutes, where is the rest of it? And it sounds weird. The entire Postman story is 10.5 hours long.

Great story
Very good. Wish there was more
Sorry a revolver doesn't have a safety
Loved it!
I really enjoyed this, thank you 😎
Surely there is another episode.
Five thieves and six bullets, and he did nothing?
I think the movie is longer than this.
First read it in 1990.

Narrated by an asthmatic?
Abridged and ruined.
Wow. Terrifically bad writing. Holy smokes who published this thing?
😢 substandard
I just started this story. A thought, please pronounce Oregon correctly.
This book is so boring that I didn't even finish it and that's not like me at all. I always think it will get better but this book didn't. Sorry
