I listened the OST many times for build up my remake and i think the same thing at the beginning, but if you watch or play the battle and listen the song it fits perfectly, so i think that the choice to do in that way is related to what you see in screen, maybe the developers want it like that, i suppose. Anyway i believe this is one of the greatest battle tracks ever created from Nobuo. Thank you for the comment!
Nicely done, though it is my recurring hope to some day find a cover of this that shares my dislike for the pounding rhythm when the song switches from spooky to action. I love The Extreme, but grumble every time at that part. You're perfectly fine to include it, since your version is synth-ier than the original, but I just think that part of the OST version is one small blemish on an otherwise great song.
