Been using my stock brakes for years on my 91 vert street cruiser, they are doing just fine but I also don't plan on going over 280-300hp anytime soon so that certainly ensures the stock brakes will be more than adequate.
stock brakes are as necessary as your pro m system lol! Im using the Cadillac ats 4 piston calipers, larger piston rear calipers, cobra cross drilled and slotted rotors and a mm hydroboost conversation. No nose dive, no locking up, it just stops. Also pro m efi.
I have an amazingly firm high pedal on my 91. Have new pads, rotors up front. New hardware, shoes, drums, wheel cylinders, metal lines in the rear. Bleed and adjusted properly. This was done 5 years ago. Put around 3k-4K miles a year on my Fox. Brakes still feel like new. Most of the people want to upgrade when their stock stuff is flat worn out so they are under the impression that the OEM brakes suck.
upgrading to slotted rotors, hawk pads and some stainless steel lines while also having the read drums will do just fine

Agreed, last mod I would ever do on my Fox is brake upgrades. We have a 130mph in the 1/4 coupe and the stock brakes are more than adequate.
😱

With all that power and obviously money you have, do the cobra brake conversion. When a Honda Civic has better brakes, that's not right.
My allowance only goes so far 😂😂😂
Braided lines and caliper bolt sleeves !
That's cool, I have never seen the bolt sleeves! Might be fun to make a couple stainless steel sets on the lathe. Thanks!
@@ThisOldFarmShop they are sold by LMR , Steeda, and many others
Sn95's
Drum brakes with cobra rims should be outlawed and prosecuted
