      My neighbors have a bed and breakfast in a residential zoned area. They blast music every time someone gets married, or has some other occasion. It rattles my windows 120 meters away. After the 3rd time of 2:30 am music I decided to shoot rifles on my pistol range every time they have a marriage, or try to load their cattle. Assholing the asshole.

      I`m surrounded by them in NY. They use to call the cops all the time. We are very much legal to shoot where we live. Cops even told them we are legal to shoot.
      But they still call the cops on us. And we continue to shoot, because it IS our right. Unfortunately, none of them have moved away. More of them keep coming though.
      We usually see patrol cars go by to make sure its us shooting, because they know where we shoot from. But they have to check out ANY gun fire no matter what now.
      Such a shame these karens & kennys try to ruin our gun hobbies and sport though. Must suck being karens & kennys. Oh well, reload the 10rd mag`s and keep chootin` ;)

    My far-away neighbor once called in my shooting as , "sounding like a war zone" after I fired 17 shots total while messing with a new scope. A few of my friends on the force showed up and said they were obligated to since someone called. Lame. My neighbor had apparantly been firing his 45 across the street from his front porch and had brass all over his front yard when somebody called the police on him the week before (what the officers told me while we were bs'ing), so they left with no issue and said, yeah, that guy's an ---. 😊

Your experience and polish at this game are apparent so that even waving neighbors and cops riding up in ATV's didn't ruffle any feathers. Great composure and a great ambassador for the sport of shooting! Thank you.

      Seems that way here as well Tim. However, we do have a lot of retirees that move here from Florida and NY specifically. The retirees are typically the ones who call the cops whenever they see people shooting. Many of them DEMAND something be done and are not happy when they are told we are free to exercise our 2nd amendment rights as long as we aren't endangering anyone.

After seeing so many interesting, fun, informative, and unique rifle shooting videos; it was a pure joy to witness a master LR shooter at their craft. We must have the same coach/mentor/team members/ advisors behind us, I swear. It was wonderful to hear all the verbiage and language throughout the coaching / video/session. What a super approach leaving that 2/3 IPSC and then a 12” diamond alongside. Start larger, then challenge smaller. I got a kick out of the cops’ arrival, and then XRing pulls out a suppressed AI AX in 6mm CM. Ha ha ha. I pull out my AI AT with IBI Custom barrel in .260 Remmy to silence all the non-believers. It's champing at the bit. Just FYI lol. A lot of people say nip it in the butt too. It's nip it in the bud.
    This phrase (or idiom) comes from the sport of kings: horse racing. A bit is part of the apparatus that goes in the horse's mouth and connects to the bridle and reins so the horse can be controlled and directed by the jockey on its back

    taken out 20 wild boars the last months with my 18,5" 6.5creed, they often just drops in their tracks so it works without any issues. In a bolt gun tho, don't know how that short barrel would do in a semi.. 140 partitions or 160 RN is just amazing. the long range ive not had the time for yet but you just showed that a short 6.5 creed will fix that easy.

    What is the flight time at 700? A couple of the farther shots seemed longer and some were quick. I assume due to using the audio from the down range camera.

    • @XRING
      @XRING  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Flight time is about .9 seconds. However, you are exactly right. Having a down range camera and trying to edit the audio for the perfect flight time isn’t worth the effort for a video. Takes too long to match them up perfectly.

    That third adjustment knob on the scope? If you ask a deer hunter in SE North Carolina it's the side focus.
    Target shooters ( there are two counting me in my county's) know it as parallax adjustment.
    I respect shooters doing reviews that show impacts and not call it hit or miss.
