"Kids who have savings accounts in their name are more likely to go to college" Most obvious thing ever - families can afford that are more likely to afford college
I don’t know much about bank accounts, but I know investment accounts are relatively accessible to any income level, which is what kids should be investing in.
@ I didn’t start investing with a lot of money, and quite honestly, investing is really only half about making money. It also teaches good money habits in general. Most brokerages allow you to open an account with $5 or less. I’m not saying you’ll become a millionaire from that, but saying the stock market is inaccessible to people is untrue
I loved getting money when I was little. I put it right in my bank account, which I got when I was 7. It wasn't attached to my parents account. I felt so adult.
Excellent video but Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. Building wealth involves developing good habits regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future.., I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life!!
I agree with you and believe that the secret to financial stability is having the right investment ideas to enable you earn more money, I don't know who agrees with me but either way I recommend real estate or crypto and stocks.
Yeah!! It would be more beneficial and yield more profit if you actually trade on cryptocurrency, I've been trading since the dip, I've made so much profit trading.
!I am at the beginning of my "investment journey", planning to put 385K into dividend stocks so that I will be making up to 30% annually in dividend returns. any good recommendation on great performing stocks or Crypto will be appreciated
about 30 years ago there was a bank near me that had childrens savings accounts, every time a goal for the account was reached, the child got a free dinosaur figurine from The Smithsonian. My children had a number of VERY well done dinosaur figurines.
I feel she should not had pitch it like replacing buying ur childrens gifts for building a savings account. She should had just focus solely on why investing in ur childs future is the main goal and how her company can be more favorable compared to other banks etc
Horrible idea. Anyone that knows anything about finance would know there’s a million alternatives, plus a 1% fee for assets under management is ridiculously high
Once she got through explaining exaclty what the thing was I said to myself..."oh,...nobody cares". Imagine a group of kids all circled around opening gifts. Timmy gets that cool new video game he's been wanting, Tommy gets a new ebike he's been waiting for and lil Bobby gets a certificate for some bs he can't do nothing with in that moment. Yea kids will love it!
"tell me you grew up with money without telling me you grew up with money" "The biggest problem with kids is how many gifts and toys pile up that they hardly play with." She also might be switching correlation and causation with the whole thing about kids that have savings accounts being more likely to go to college etc. Don't get me wrong, its not a bad concept, the pitch is just funny for me.
When she first came, I thought that she would have found a solution to the toys we had at home already what we can do with them 😅😅. But saving accounts don’t make sense. Kids love to see things and open their gifts 🎁
i didn't like her attitude towards childhood in general.. kids love toys - it's okay to get them those, it's not ''junk'' - it's memories, it's future nostalgia. It's good to have a savings account too, but toys are not junk either
The value Kevin brings to this would be like going to play The Masters for the first time and you can have Fluff or Bones on your bag or your buddy from College.
I think its a great idea. Its not like you NEVER have to give your kids presents, but you don't need to buy them loads of crap they use once & throw away. Ask them want they really want badly, set goals for them to attain it.
I didn't like her presentation. A better way to do it would be to add money to their account every time they do their chores. Teach them responsibility. Don't take away their presents that is weird. Kids love toys. Let them be kids.
Thanks for the forecast! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
I mean there is a need… How many times have you spent hundreds of dollars in cheap junk in the toy isle for kids you know arent going to use…. Not sure if this is the solution…but there is a need

"I can bring a lot of value by just putting my name on it" -- I'd pay to have Kevin's name off a product like this so people don't get FTX flashbacks. Wouldn't want a customer sitting at home wondering if their kid's money is going down the drain the FTX wallets did.
It’s time to teach the little darlings how not to be so freaking greedy and how to be grateful. Which is why I no longer buy gifts for my nieces and nephews.
She already got her exposure. I think they tell people to act this way. However, I'd say, people could split their gift, $5 for 18 yrs on a good yield..... shiiiiiii
I can’t watch more of this, Kevin was right that’s depressing! That woman listed all the activities and savings that should be the parents responsibilities before even thinking about bringing a child to this world, and is taking advantage of the one thing that lights up a child’s life! Unwrapping his or her gift and play with it! Honestly shame on her and anyone who’d buy into this selfish parents scheme!
Barbara watching from home be like:
I'm already out girl

$200,000 for 4% is nuts. 5 million value? For what? A savings account for kids. They already have that.
There’s so many better things that can be used for kids investment. Just put them in a high growth ETF fund and let them ride the market.
Back in my day we called this product an allowance.
@@dannytran1587 but what about encouraging kids to save

She is pulling numbers now
And you are here in youtube comments saying this
Go figure
Lori: "I'm out."
"NOoooOoOOOoOOooO!!!!!!"
Haha I think she thought she was about to have a bidding war
Nike actually donated $1 million to them. They’re doing pretty good right now (goalsetter) and mark Cuban also teamed up with them a year later.
A lesson that putting yourself out there brings back good things, even if you don't succeed right away
You know Kevin isn’t fooling around when he offers straight equity
Kevin: "That's pretty depressing." Yes it is, Kevin.
"Kids who have savings accounts in their name are more likely to go to college" Most obvious thing ever - families can afford that are more likely to afford college
Being more likely to go to college isn’t the W she thinks it is. College is a scam it’s better to just start working immediately after high school
It's not just about the money though, it's about deferred gratification.
I don’t know much about bank accounts, but I know investment accounts are relatively accessible to any income level, which is what kids should be investing in.

People who over exaggerate their facial expressions when they talk, like that is going to get their point across better, really creep me tf out
Same, it gives me distrust😅
Devils advocate, maybe she's not fake just very expressive and a bit weird (and possibly unlikable)

Kevin's offer was reasonable considering what he could bring to the table
What Damon said about his child. She thinks she’s entitled. Absolute nightmare.
It’s because he spoils her. Imagine not giving a hug unless u have a gift
its usual for people of his kin, entitled

Never once were these jokes funny
I mean why wouldn’t the parent setup a savings under their bank account or put it in etf where it will grow without even being touched
Exactly what I was thinking lol

Ooo how fun. Sitting around the christmas tree to open a big ol box of...a receipt of deposit. 200$ but you cant touch it😂
just gift money, and if they want, they can put it in a bank account, kinda pointless imo
What stops parents from stealing their kids savings for a new car etc.

I put money in a different bank/account to "save and forget it". After a while, they started deducting fees for not touching the account.

I'm not sure how you'd structure a royalty here tbh
her voice is brutal
i'm way too early on this video, therefore i'm out.
