Have you ever used My Father's World? What did you like or didn't like about the curriculum?

Loved hearing about your tradition of "getting on an airplane" to visit a new country. Fun!

I just came over from the homeschool group & watched your review/flip through. I love that you get straight to the point! I just subscribed! 😁

Thank you! I appreciate your feedback. That's good to hear :) I just took a peek at your channel. Right up my daughter's alley!

This was a very helpful flip thru and information about ECC! I’ve been trying to decide whether to use it or not next year and I think from watching yours that I will!

So glad this flip through helped! I know from chatting with many families that this year is an absolute "keeper"! I know it's one of my kids' favorite things we have been doing in our homeschool over the past 2 years.

This was our first year using MFW and I hate that I didn’t find it sooner! It has changed our homeschooling life, I feel like my daughter is learning so much with this program. We are hoping to use it again next year.

It's so great to hear that you are loving it! I definitely know families that started with MFW and have continued on for years and year! It's a great option. I'm too "fickle" to stick with one program 100%, but I have definitely enjoyed this curriculum these past 2 years.

Love your first day for each country! This is a great idea. I'm going to include this with our ECC this year. Thank you for the idea! Great to hear that you and I are on the same page regarding art :) How did you split it between the 2 years?

I did Sonlight History B+C the past 2 years as well. So, I actually started with ECC with Africa, Europe, and then Asia (so it would correspond better with the world history that we were studying). And then, this year, we did South American, and then moved into North America as we started the Early Exploration of North American. Next year, we will finish with about 4 weeks about Australia and then Antarctica (which will happen to line up perfectly with the Guest Hollow High School Geography we are adding next year).

@@CalmintheChaosHomeschool Thank you so much! I was thinking about switching the order of the countries that we did based on our history. So glad to hear that it worked for you!

Hello, enjoyed watching your video. I have two boys, 8 & 11. I’m curious about spreading this over 2 years. Were you doing other curriculum while you spread this over two years?

Yes, we were. I tend to like to "mush" curriculum together. So, I was actually doing Sonlight B+C Condensed (th-cam.com/video/-qV99TxtEG4/w-d-xo.html) and have just started in adding BF Early American History (more supplementally). Here is a video that might show more of how we do all our group subjects together in a loop. th-cam.com/video/mY2BAHr2T3k/w-d-xo.html Hope that helps! :)
