That's great that you have a conference room that you can use at the library! We have a little "silent room" that you can reserve at our library, but it is really only for a single person. It sounds like you have a great routine going! And I love that you are utilizing the drive for listening to audiobooks - we used to do that all the time when we were car-schooling. It is such a great use of time, when everyone is already in one spot not going anywhere else 😊
If we were at our library, we would have a tiny, tiny room that basically encloses a small table and 2 booths. Definitely not enough room for any of my curriculum. Thankfully the town we go to has a much larger library :)
Loved hearing your update! You always have such a fun selection of books and curriculum! The election unit sounds interesting. Such an important topic that our kids should be learning about🙂 We are also using Living Harmonies and really enjoying it. We break up the lessons into two-three days because they are longer, and we don't always watch the full videos either😅 Thanks for hosting this one!!
Yeah! I saw that you were doing living harmonies too. Did you know that they came out with a volume 2? I’m debating on that one. I’ll probably all my kids when we are done this one if they want to do another one.
So glad that you found a good routine for mo days and Wednesdays. I bet the days at home fee so nice. The prisoners of Geography book looks beautiful 😍 so does the wildlife Smithsonian one
I find homeschooling in a different location is more smooth!!! My kids say it’s fun!!! We do coffee shop schooling with just my older kids!!! My teenagers don’t do mornings and we work around it!!! I don’t mind tho!!! We started a co op!!! We aren’t Routine all yr round, but have a flow!!! We fell apart but just before our fall break!!! I believe Spanish is hard but I use a translator for work!!! We aren’t in Latin America for long in a yr tho!! We love guest hollow!!! We do health all the time!!! My older daughter is doing that art history with 2 friends and her friend’s dad is teaching it!!! Idk wat time period they are doing tho!!! Last year we read the lie: evolution as a read around!!!
Oh, interesting resource! Thank you! I used to try to homeschool in coffee shops, etc. But with kids with ADHD... that sure didn't work. Thankfully the library is working for us. And it's much cheaper :)
LOL! Right? Is super nice and quiet and they have my undivided attention. Usually they are super, easily distracted. So generally outside our coffee shop or just a random place would be a disaster.
How is your homeschool going so far? What is working and/or what have you had to change?

Thank you for stopping by! Can’t wait to see how your homeschool year is going!
The geography of Guest Hollow is stellar. I can't say enough about it. 🌻
Agreed! Absolutely love!
Loved the update! I’m so glad I the schedule worked out for your family and that the boys are adjusting well to doing school at the library!
Yes! I'm so happy with it! I hope that you guys will fall into a good routine too. It's hard with such a BIG shake up!

Living Harmonies, Brit pop? lol
Is that the name of a British pop band? If so, I was not aware of that :) What I'm referring is a music curriculum by Thistles and Biscuits :)
