- 2023 Kia Niro has achieved the drag coefficient of 0.29 Cd (w/ 16-inch wheels).
Thanks to Air Curtain, such number was possible along with higher mpg.
But does it REALLY work in real life?

Pardon me, I can't answer all your questions one by one, but all those mpg related are almost the same as predecessor's.

Does the "aeroblade" actually stick out from the face of the car at the doors, or is it flush?
I am really looking forward to the PHEV version coming to the US, but the lack of 360 camera really makes me 2nd-guess purchasing one.
It's more like the doors are tucked in rather than blades sticking out. But very subtle and not everyone would even be able to tell. I have high hopes for PHEV as well :)
Is the movement on the headlights caused by video capture of LEDs Like sometimes you get flashing ? Or is that what they actually do? If so how.
It's the flicker issue with GoPro. DRLs are solid to human eyes in real life.
Might not make much of a difference but according to the odometer, the test with the vents open was perform after without refuelling in between the two tests. The engine was possibly warmer and the car lighter throughout the test with the vents open.
Keen eyes and good point. However as for the engine warmth goes, I actually drove quite a distance prior to shooting the video, I tried my best to eliminate any human error + intervention. Although this vid is just-for-fun kinda vid :P Thanks for watching!
I don't agree with your experiment of only covering up the front. You should have covered the rear as well because there are giant holes for the air to get in, creating increased drag. Plus, your taping seemed to be very loose, so it's probably flapping in the wind.
Thought a simple taping would do the work, but obviously not. I will keep your comment in mind for future videos. Thanks!

The label could differ from a country to another because of the different release dates, etc. This is indeed 2023 Kia Niro Hybrid.
The faster it goes the bigger is the difference I suppose...

0.29 Cd is a very poor reading for a modern car, for there are many other modern cars that are performing better so it is just a sales gimick.
