Very nice that Mark. It will do you as its a good heater. I know some who have connected it to the main line diesel feed to their vehicle. No faff just out the box and in. Great to come back to a warm van. Enjoy.
Good bit of kit that, those diesel heaters are superb. Brave of you to drill holes in the van. Was it ‘measure twice, then twice more , then cut once🤣🤣🤣
Nice one. I think I will slant my tank down towards the filter. I want any sediment to go into my filter so I can regularly clean out the entire system simply by replacing it.
Hi you can connect the fuel directly to the fuel tank of the van but I opted for the plastic fuel tank which suited me, also I painted the areas around the wholes with hammerite paint 😁👍👌
@@huntingandcampingwales485 cheers Mark, we didn’t do a bad job of it with it being our first time and I tell you what they are really hot can’t wait until we are allowed out to use it 👍👌
Mark does the heater work better than expected? You've had the weather recently to give it a proper test. Not much else to do during lockdown 😏 take it easy atb Taff 🤠
I connected mine to the leisure battery as I have a split relay connected to the van battery, I’m not sure if you can connect it straight to the van battery but I might be wrong , cheers Mark 👌👍
I see these popping up everywhere!! Very interesting and you fellas did a great job making some sense of it for me!
Cheers Tim 👌👍
Looks a pro install in the end mate, will be a valuable asset to winter camping in the van 🤘

Thanks Bernard the heater is awesome definitely gonna need it in the colder months 👌👍
Nice one Mark, you made a good job of that. I'm clueless with all that stuff! 😂 atb Daz
Cheers Daz, I had a go lol it turned out pretty good mate 😁👌👍
Fantastic DIY job lol least it keeps your van warm that's the main thing and yh it is loud but could u make it quieter? Great video once again

I didn’t mind cutting the holes it’s not my van it’s Karen’s 🤣🤣🤣

Cheers mate, I’d say a weekend and your good to go 😁👌👍
Good video 👍
Thank you 👌👍😁
Can you move the fuel pump outside? I would also paint the inner diameter of those holes you drilled, as they will rust in a very short time.

1st 😎
What size are the two main holes please?
Hi I will let you know in a bit I’m driving home at the moment 👍👌
@Twin_Peaks_Outdoors thanks buddy, I really appreciate it plus the amazing content!
@@BigArch6564 Hi, I used a 35mm core bit to drill the holes 👍😁
@@Twin_Peaks_Outdoors many thanks.
I watched Simon a bloke outdoors and he mounted his pump by dangling it on a cable to to stop it being so noisy
Cable Tie**
I have heard that works and I might do it if the noise gets on my nerves lol 👌👍😂
@@Twin_Peaks_Outdoors Might not be too bad once you put a front panel on it mate
@@BulldogBadger yeah it should be fine hopefully 😁👍

Do you need to connect it to leisure battery or its ok to run it on vans power
