I lived most part of my life in between Lagos and Ibadan.My major problem with development is planning,most especially the roads.Just because an area is not developed yet,doesn't mean the roads should be narrow. Electric poles are quickly installed on the right and left sides of the roads without observing the setbacks.Years after the area is populated,electric poles cant be moved backward,houses and shops are too close to the roads causing traffic going in and coming out.Have seen this happened too often.Eleyele-Ologun eru- Eruwa road is a very good example. The roads shoud be wide enough to accommodate increase in population that will lead to more traffic.

It's good area to invest but I wouldn't encourage anyone to go through Andron home and property, their term and condition is worrisome. be very careful before you waste your money. do not purchase a land property where C of O cannot be issue to you after you have made payment.

I wonder what the future of agriculture will be like when most lands are sold for housing. There seems to be no distinction between lands for housing and lands for agriculture.
Hello, Ojo ... I get you but Ibadan is a big city and Agriculture will always thrive if we take it seriously. Yes, the city centre might not be the best place to plant but still Ibadan is a big city.
The fear of Fulani discourages people from farming because just one day Fulani man will come with thousands of cows and raised your farm down, you dare not talk if you do they will kill you and nothing will happened. They killed Dr Aboroyede in Igangan who came from Germany to practise Agriculture in his father's land. Nothing happened till today
Well said. It seems everyone is about building an estate ,unfortunately I can’t see any improvement from the last time I was growing up in the 80-90 before I left for America and am so very scared of lack of proper infrastructure .No Electricity or just a running water.
Shame on the state government and legislators who are so concerned about lining their pockets.
Exactly what I was thinking , everywhere is now for housing only can you imagine , no one is talking about farming anymore .
