For now, I'll just say that your discussion of helping vs punishing Toga reminds me of something I was thinking about yesterday: the fact that Toga's parents and doctors will never receive repercussions for mistreating this young child really, really bothers me. They'll likely never see the error of their ways by themselves either. Just "oh, looks like we were right about that girl. She was a monster." It makes my stomach churn. All Toga ever wanted was to love and be loved in return, and to be herself without fear. And she could've, if it weren't for that mistreatment. To add to that, it looks like they used different wording in the dub, but in the sub her doctor refers to Toga as having been "perverted" by her quirk. It's disgusting. I've been thinking about Toga nonstop since this came out in the sub. I keep fantasizing a happy ending for her. She's just a child. And yes.....I cried a lot 😭
There's a tad bit after the ending in the next episode for you stay watching, but this episode was emotionally amazing, didn't get me as much as the last episode but still incredible
Idk about her English VA, but I heard Uraraka's JP VA broke down in the recording booth while doing her lines, Toga's JP VA comforted her on a walk
