      It can do, but it can also go hand in hand with the time of year and the location. There was always a risk of rain, I still enjoyed the ride though. 👍

    Looks a great cafe, in a lovely location and selling good food - what’s not to like (….. perhaps just the weather?!) Thanks for sharing Steve, regards Paul.

    Just watched the latest instalment Steve, and thoroughly enjoyed it especially the bits featuring me 0:) Hope that you enjoyed the rest of your ride on the day, and just to let you know the weather stayed lovely, bright and dry for my journey North West and home , (only interrupted by a low fuel warning light and a fuel stop ) ...will speak soon mate take care and check your PP account, now you can buy some tissues for wiping the camera lens ha ha ....Oh BTW I chuckled at your comment about the suitability of the Can Am for me (12.10) I did actually look at one of those a while ago but boy oh boy they are pricey, a pal owned one and enjoyed it ! take care - ride safe

      Roger, many thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Despite the weather towards the end of the day it was a great day out. Shame about the lack of chips though! 😂 Thanks also for your contribution, very much appreciated 👍

    Great video again buddy. Thank you for sharing, Just received my new GS 1250 TE on Friday from Alan Jefferies - Loving life at the moment, what an amazing bike it is, best I've ever had and I've had loads. My last one was a GT800 & a Verysus 1000 - traded both in to get this beauty and cannot be happier. What model is yours? They all look similar other than the Adventure which has a larger tank.

      Carlo, many congratulations on your new bike 👍 Did you get it from Jefferies in Baildon or the Rotherham branch? Mines the GSA Rallye HP version. I've just had a good run out on it today, (Sunday), cold, wet & cloudy but I still thoroughly enjoyed myself. 😊

    Lovely scenery, nice bikes..I wanted to ask you this, between your K16 and GS, which one would you prefer to ride on any road, weather, versatility and comfort

    • @701Adventures
      @701Adventures  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Karthik, that is a very good but difficult question to answer! The GS has the advantage of being able to go anywhere and do everything, whereas the K16 is limited in its ability on certain roads but then excels in comfort, style and road presence. The K16 offers more wet weather protection than the GS but then with the right bike clothing you don’t succumb to the elements anyway, I use a Rukka Nivala suit and it is perfect for all climates.
      I think both bikes are excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate to do a tour on either as each has qualities and abilities which the other doesn’t. I hope that helps to answer your question, basically what I am saying is that both bikes are excellent. 😁

      @@701Adventures I have Annake 2's which I find rather noisy.

      @@stuarty40 I had those on a previous GSA, never noticed anything untoward with them personally although I’ve read many reviews on them which weren’t very favourable 👍

    possibly choose your words a bit more carefully ( ROADS TO DIE FOR ) not very well put. but a wonderful part of the country.

      Mick, you are right, after I'd said it I immediately thought better of it, but I meant it in a positive way to attempt to describe the beauty of the roads etc. I certainly didn't mean to offend anyone so I sincerely apologise if I have done so. 👍
