it is the whole composition of the story and the novel....he did her very dirty after he did not showed up too the dinner...he lets her down because he wants that she experiences how it feels like to be let down...it is also depatable if he killed himself but i am pretty sure he did after they mailed each other at the end....

There are two different stories in the movie and he plays two different characters. He never killed himself, he just killed off his fictional character that he created in his novel.
u did not get my thought....he describes in the novel how he felt when she did not believed in him, went to another guy and also had an abortion of his child for the only reason she would not want to be with him anymore...the plot in the novel is a emblem of how he felt when she left him and did all these things too him....but if he killed himself or not is really a perspective thing imo

Charizarzar usually the studio that's promoting a movie buys a star for an actor/actress to get extra publicity, although you can buy one for yourself, but it's a bigger deal if someone buys it for you
Charizarzar actually the fans or the studio buys the star for the artist then the hollywood chamber of commerce evaluates and decides before they get inducted so its not that easy to acquire one.

Lana Del Slay wrong, james dean got a star in the hollywood walk of fame because of his infamous death and he was not even five years in the business. I guess its more on the artist contribution but i could agree with you now a days some inductess are not well deserved like Melissa McCarthy, Pharrell Williams, Donald Trump, Sofia Vergara, Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Hudson, Shrek etc. But in Adams case I guess she deserves it. Plenty of Hollywood actors are well known in westernised and rich countries but not well known around the world completely especially in poor countries where technologies and developments are lagging behind and these people you said like Marlon Brando, Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroes etc.? even my grandparents, parents and the people their age around our neighborhood never knew them so basically its not about popularity but your artistic significance to the business. Heck they even recognized Hattie McDaniel, Sessue Hayakawa, Philip Ahn, Jean Hagen and plenty of them as inductees back in the Golden Age of Hollywood.
