Johnny Arcade is cheesy as shit, but fucking rad as hell. As cheesy as this show is, these two announcers seem so hyped and into their job and are really fair and nice to the kids compared to other gaming shows back in the day where the host didn't give a shit and was way too fake hyped and this show was always way more generous than other ones too. Like if you were a second off on the final grab, they'd still let you win and even if you lost the other stuff, they still hooked you up!
Yeah Johnny's a giant goofball but he really is a wholesome guy and one time there was a tie so they just made up a rule during the commercial break that whoever did better in the first gameplay would be the overall winner and even though it was kind of unprofessional of them to make up a rule on the fly like that, he hooked up the kid that lost way more than normal to try to make it up to him.
I definitely remember watching this show when I was a kid! I especially liked that note commercial where the guy that was sitting in that large red chair was talking about his days when he was in high school, and how milk had changed him along with him working out at the gym. My favorite part was when the guy said by senior year, milk had made a difference and he was still wearing that white tank top and blue shorts but he was a lot more muscular than he was when he had started in the beginning and seeing two those two guys that was Bullying him in his freshman year pardon me guys and then rewinding that small part while he said I love this part and him saying pardon me guys again and the two guys kind of backed up with stunned expressions on their faces.
Damn. I'm glad I found these. Brings back so many memories from childhood. Even up here in Canada, I wanted to compete on this show lol. Thanks for the uploads!!
