Congratulations on 2,000 subscribers. I have so enjoyed your channel since discovering it last year - I look forward to watching your reading journey in 2024 as well!
Oh gosh.. I started House of Leaves 3 times and got so scared every time that I had to stop. It's crazy what this book can do. So eerie. I remember the visceral experience I had when they measured the house. That's when I had to stop. Good luck with it *sweat*! Also I love that you have Gödel, Escher, Bach! Did you read it yet? Also yey for Robert Musil. *Austrian pride activated* Overall fantastic taste. Loved watching this! And congrats on 2k! 🙂
Awesome shelves, man! I'm interested in getting to Sterne at some point soon as well. Jealous of that copy of Codex Seraphinianus -- someday I need to splurge and grab a copy to put next to my facsimile of the Voynich MS!
Wow, this is the best video I've seen in 2024 so far lol. Seeing your bookshelf got me really excited, as we have a lot of the same tastes! I thought I read a lot, but you run circles around me with the amount of books you read, many of which are still on my to-read list. Casually reading Russel's history of western philosophy lol, what a beast. You're the type of person I'm trying to be. This gives me inspiration, thank you for the amazing book shelf video.
Very nice collection! I love nonfiction but I'm always looking to widen my reading. I love Penguin Classics 👍🏽I have a small collection so far and slowly expanding. Cheers!
There is a Rodin Museum here in Philadelphia. His works were first exhibited here for the centennial in 1876. It is still located in Fairmount Park and the grounds are beautiful. The complete history of the museum is on the website.
That looks like a cool edition of Anatomy of Melancholy. Have you read any of it? I’m tackling it now, I’m only 150 or so pages in. It’s truly great but man, is it dense lol. I typically only read a page or two of it at a time. So on that pace, I’ll finish it in in like 2026 lol
I'm late, but if you haven't already, please please read Solenoid. Pretty easily the greatest book I have ever read, but that should be taken with a grain of salt considering my literary experience is far from extensive.
Thanks for watching the video. I still haven't gotten around to Solenoid, but I keep picking it up thinking "now's the time," then going for some other big book
Thanks. I very rarely read more than one book at a time. Sometimes, during a long book, I'll have a brief pause and read something very short, but I never read simultaneously.
Just a reminder to not let Bertrand Russell put you off of reading Hegel. He's just a hater because the PoS begins with a critique of math. PoS is a top philosophy experience.
I swear, bookshelf tours are my favourite TH-cam videos.
Delicious and eclectic taste from start to finish. Really good stuff.

Cool set of stacks
Awesome tour! I’m a fellow Joyce lover, and I can confirm Multiple Joyce is excellent. Would love to see a video of your thoughts when you get to it.

The Anatomy of Melancholy is my favorite book of all time. It is a "desert island" book for me.
Knausgaard is great …Book 6 is an amazing finale to My Struggle

i know i’m late but i noticed the music lesson by victor wooten! are you a bass player?
Not bass, but I actually studied Jazz Guitar at univeristy!
Great video. Do you tend to read one book at a time or do you read multiple at once? Thanks

@@readreadofficial Good to know thanks
Cool collection… you’re in the know … ha
Hi nick!
Great blessings upon ye for visiting this place 🙏
@@readreadofficial hi nick!

True, Hegel is awesome
It’s not very nice calling it a POS. Nobody likes point of sale systems.
I really wanted to see your shelves but couldn’t get past your nails. Buy a nail clipper, man!
Haha I play guitar so I need nails.
@@readreadofficial I apologize for my rudeness. I shouldn’t have said that. I wish you the best with your channel and your guitar-playing.
