Then Temari went to Ninjutsu, so he flexed it out for the one time. And Garaa (one of my favorite voice actors) says that iconic line "Is this the power of a God?"
Several franchises introduce their "ancient all-power greatest of all time" villains but Madara is the only one that actually completely lives up to the hype. Beyond satisfying.
Yeah but I think he was cheapened by having Hashirama DNA in him it wasn’t his own true raw power he’s supposed to to be the ultimate Uchiha but he had to use Hashirama cells to achieve this level

Way back before Shippuden when the Third Hokage faced off with Orochimaru and the reanimations of the First and Second Hokage, he commented about how only the 2nd could produce that much water to flood the rooftop without there being water present. It’s the same with wood style, a combination of earth and water elements, and is not tied to the presence of trees. That’s just how much chakra these old GOATs had

For a good majority of us fans, whenever a channel starts reacting to the Naruto series, its always a count down to this one episode. Its absolutely Goat'd across the fandom. Madara Uchiha was alluded to and hyped up since regular Naruto, and he absolutely delivered on it. That alone is rare AF

This one episode alone shows the badassery of Madara. Not only does he excel in Taijutsu easily taking on hundreds of Shinobis at once, he also demonstrated his incredible Ninjutsu skills requiring 10+ Shinobis to counter his fire move, activated his Rinnegan where he summoned not one but TWO meteors, harnessed the power of Wood Style and can summon the 9 tails. OP much?
It was indeed the rinnegan in that brief moment, but it was a mistake from animators. In the manga it was still the sharingan until the scene where he awakened the rinnegan.
The rinnegan is NOT a natural progression for uchihas. The rinnegan is only unlocked once the Indra and asura blood is mixed (when madara bit hashirama and took some of his blood).
Yeah the Rinnegan is everything BUT a natural transformation, Madara was born as a reincarnate of Indra as a pre-req for even his eyes being candidates for evolution. Then he had to steal DNA from Hashirama, the only reincarnate of Ashura and graft it on himself. And even then, he had to wait out his entire natural lifespan, several decades, before he experienced the mutation on his deathbed and made his final plans for resurrection. Short of Madara literally hacking the dojutsu playbook and Sasuke getting gifted it directly by Hagoromo's essence, no other Uchiha could or ever would awaken it. My bet is that Kishimoto still had aspects of the Rinnegan's awakening to sort out integrating it behind Madara's strength but he needed such a power to build the endgame enemies.

I was so confused that I looked it up and apparently the animators made a mistake and accidentally drew Madara with the Rinnegan before it was revealed like 30 seconds or so later. Lol
This arc surely has some highs and lows, but its highs are so goddamn strong. And this episode is probably its highest of them all. Its such a well crafted episode, goddamn. And its not just about the fight itself. The storyboarding, direction, animation, the usage of soundtrack, especially here 12:27. The reveals, the secrets and epic moments. Its just keep bombarding you with stuff until you overload with emotions. One of the 3 best eps in Shippuden defenetly.

The meteorite technique Madara used is called Shattered Heaven or Tengai Shinsei in Japanese. It isn't stated how it works but either the meteorites are taken from outer space with the help of the Rinnegans ability to control gravity, they are created from small rock pieces from previous meteorites, that orbit the earth, using Chibaku Tensei or he created Chibaku Tensei cores somewhere on the planet, let them gather rubble and pulled them towards the battlefield. Either way Madara is only doing his warm up. I can't wait for your reaction on the climax. Also, you tend to stick to your hypotheses too much and too often. Its a bad habit that confuses you. Rinnegan manifestation is a Lot simpler than you think. A little hint 50%+50%=100%.

My favorite character. I had lots of favorites i couldn't choose between before he showed up but once he showed up it was obvious who the best was for me. When you learn the FULL story of who he is, what he's done, what he stands for. It just all clicks for me. Such a legendary character in every possible sense.

Madara Meteor is like Sasuke Kirin, it takes something natural and use it for more power... in tha case of Sasuke he sumons a storm and the control it... in the case of madara... HE USES A FUCKIN REAL METEOR (directly from the handbook)

The first time we see Madara's Rinnegan was an animation error, It should have been his Mangekyo Sharingan. The Rinnegan was supposed to be only shown after the Rasen-shuriken was absorbed by it, as a shocking surprise.

The first time we see Madara's Rinnegan was an animation error, It should have been his Mangekyo Sharingan. The Rinnegan was supposed to be only shown after the Rasen-shuriken was absorbed by it, as a shocking surprise.
