Hey I got the 65’ ReelWorks and it blew the reset button on the side of it and it doesn’t work, the reset button does nothing, any ideas ?? Thanks for any info
Ouch! I would contact customer service. I have had no problems with mine but admittedly I dont use it every single day. Mine retracts fine on the angled pull, no need for any reset.
If you go on amazon ,all the reels are the small housing and alot of the same bolt patterns. Really just comes down to what quality internals it has. Lastly its the same reel just rebaged to prevent price matching from greedy companies.
What is the purpose of buying a 12 gauge reel if you only have 14 gauge wires in your walls ? The outlet for your garage door is connected to a 14 gauge wire.
Why disassemble the case? Just measure the mounting bracket hole, drill it snug with a proper phillips sized wood screw that will fit into the insert, slide into the narrow side of the bracket and you should be able to tighten it down with a large phillips driver.
If you measured from hole to hole on bracket and then put two screws in cieling you could side the brack on its a slots bracket for that reason

Why would you put this on the rail side of garage door. When door is up it blocks the unit.
