We noticed after uploading there is a typo in the shot - but this is definitely made for *SOPRANOS* // no _SORANOS_ allowed

Very good. I'm a Lyric Mezzo with a 4 octaves range but my very high notes were 'sticky' and foggy sounding and I never entertained notio n s of ever being a coloratura, singing those imp I ssibly fast hist runs etc. I just wanted more flexible, lighter, less foggy high notes. This has helped me. Forfet being a coloratura but I do have high notes I could now dare to try singing full lyric soprano, instead of my darker, lower m ezzo. Going from my lower m ezzo nites, leaping up th high Soprano is still a bit aw kward, especially when descending from extreme high soprano down to the darker, lower mezzo notes. These exercises, intended for high ligh coloratura sopranos seem to also help give greater agility and lightness to heavier nezzo sopranos like me. Just what I was seeking. Thank you. The coloratura exercises are hard for my thicker, clumsier voice to warble through, but they still help, even if I get them wrong or am too slow for some of the impossibly fast ones.

LOVE IT KRISTEN - many many thanks 🙏🙏 I expect you have noticed it says "SORANOS" in the title, with no "P"!! NOT A CRITICISM - I just mentioned it in case you want to make a small correction.

Thank you, Diane!! I made the thumbnail graphic while teaching a class - so it totally slipped my mind! I'll make the correction today!

Ah, I can't do these fast very high coloratura exercises first thing of a morning. I need to do at least 30 minutes or more of normal mezzo the ordinary soprano before I even dare attempt these fast ones. It's not the extreme high pitches. It's the speed and agility needed. But it is improving, with practice. I've accepted I'll never be such an agile coloratura but these exercises still help me gain flexibility for my natural voice type, so they can't be bad, since they are not painful to execute accurately, just fast, hard, frustrating, like all music is, until you get the knack of it. I recall a time when I got very suspicious whenever the pianist played any note above the C sbove Middle C, until I got past that 'pitch barrier'. Now I wonder what the fuss is about High C.
