Attention Anglers! You don't need the latest and greatest gear. I just learned how to twitch on coho last weekend but lost all my $5 dollar Jigz, boo. Had the best day of fishing ever with my son! I Was so convinced Jigz are the way to get em I went home and tied up my own home made. Pieces of stuffed animals yarn bits of this and that, hoochi skirts. It worked! I use old eagle poles crappy reels 30 pound power pro.

Where do we get the hoochies?

  • @justinlee42

Question: there are a few videos you do that recommend the GSP for chinook using a spinning rod for spinning and twitching methods. In this one you’re recommending the 7-15 lb, 7’6” one. In a couple others, you recommend the 9’ one that is like 8-17lb.
Do you have a preference between the two?
I want to add a spinning rod that can handle chinook with these methods, but I don’t want 2-3 of them. Thanks!

Dumb question. But wonder if these would be effective on Michigan salmon since they have never seen a squid?
