Family Feud PRANK [200 Points By One Player]

Occasionally on Family Feud, one contestant would win Fast Money by themself. This is exceedingly rare, and borderline impossible nowadays, as the show usually selects questions to make 200 points in one go mathematically impossible. But it happened from time to time when Ray Combs hosted the show, and it produced some of the most iconic moments from his time hosting Family Feud.
Whenever a contestant got 200 points by themselves in Fast Money, Combs would prank their teammate. He would tell them the first player got an atrociously low score, and they would need over 180 points to come back and win. Combs would make up 5 stupid questions, then reveal that their family had already won without them.
After a while, other people working on the show started to join in on the joke as well. In this episode of Family Feud Challenge, his final season on CBS, Helen scored 205 points on her own, but by the time her teammate Paul came out, the board said 5 points instead. Combs did his thing, then revealed Helen's achievement to Paul.

Horrible how Ray was let go when they thought that Richard Dawson could save the show when it made no difference

Ray didn’t want to keep hosting the show anyway. He also had a car accident that left him in pain and divorced his wife. His getting taken off the show was the last of his worried unfortunately. Dawson was the original, and they felt he would get the ratings back he held before with the show, but he would have got replaced one way or the other.

The scoreboard was A primitive computer that can change into anything he asked you to of course someone that was human had to have changed it
