Just to add more infor on the crossing with the car to Zanzibar: The price range is arround 200k TZS, and usually the cargo ferry departs either in the evening, travels over night and arrives on the other side early in the morning. Then the whole day time they load again for the return journey. The cargo ferry also takes passengers but it is very slow. And ofcourse this process needs an agent. (NB: 200k fair was for pickup)

Dorado fish has no other English name than just Dorado. Dorado is what is called in English/Latin or Mahi-Mahi in some Islands. Shida Wakenya wengi hawajui aina za Samaki labda Wakenya wa Kisumu kidogo wanajua Samaki wa maji baridi wa Lake Victoria.
Again something about privatizing the beach. We saw it in south Africa the beach was public and accessed by all, TZ too Houses and hotels are built a kilometer from the beach not at the beach like in kenya
The day Zanzibar will change the way they prep and serve food in forodhani then I will know they are serious about atracting international tourists in that market. The area is perfect for selling food but they really need an international food prep instructor to come and fix things up. You can't prepare food and display it out on the open air like that along with other items next to it. Even if it's being sold right the way still! Also fresh seafood should always kept separate from other items and fresh ones should be kept in a very low/cold temperature and made to order only, not over cook it and display it out for hours on the same table with other items! All what tourists sees is a huge cross contamination than causes food bone illnesses all the time but my ppl don't care at all.
just why they visit a place...they need to try new foods and new cultures. some escape that food you are talking about to try a new taste prepared in a new way....we can not be the same....and that is what is callled cultural tourism....zanzibar is very right
Yes, there are things that need to be changed or to be taken care of in those food Studs at Forodhani. Especially for the sea foods, i heard a White Woman from Utah-America mentioning that the sea foods do not display when they were prepared or how long they have been there which gave her a doubt to buy some. And i don't blame her because Sea foods need extra care and to follow procedure during preparation.
Not just transport system..because it is easily seen...Most public services in Tanzania are advanced from Sports infrastructure, public hospitals eg Muhimbili, Jakaya Kikwete cardiac institute, Ocean road cancer hospital you will find many east Africans studying or searching for advanced treatments there...Agriculture Tanzania is doing well...feed many African countries, Energy production...they opened New Hydroelectic dam this year with 2115MW. It has been 6 months now since Tanzania experience total blackouts, and many other things

Kindly state the ticket price of the ferry and olso how much for the uber
$35 per person for the ferry for non-residents, and $5 for the uber.
How long will it take from dar to Zanzibar by ferry
It takes approximately1 hour 45 minutes.
Lovely vlog as always. Liv does the $44 insurance fee also for east Africans?
Thank you, Sean. No. It is only Tanzanians that are exempted from the insurance fee.
