The beaches are beautiful , you can swim anywhere on the Island, even in the stone town. Food is great, people are nice and hospitable. It's just too expensive for those who are looking for bargains.

never forget that Zanzibar is located in Tanzania and eastern Africa, therefore it belongs to black Africans and not to Arabs and Asian Indians.. in fact, the Arabs have to apologize to the Africans they enslaved for more than 700 years
The Omani slave traders owned the island for hundreds of years of yrs and the Indian settlers brought in goods from India but the locals remained at the bottom till today. Either she doesn’t want to tell the real history or up to something
@@Tefera-hf8fwThose trade routes don’t require modern ships so they have probably been going on for thousands of years. The focus on slave trade is probably an Islamic thing but the trade routes in general have been there thousands of years.
Let's face it, without the foreign influence...the Arabs, Portuguese, Persians, Indians etc into Zanzibar there would not have been a stone town. That the crucial part of Zanzibar. The beautiful beaches? Not exclusive to Zanzibar!
I'm going to spend 3 days in Zanzibar. I'm interested in seeing Stone town, and some of the beaches you mentioned, maybe Nungwi or Paje. Do you have any recommendations on which area I should stay? Stone town, Nungwi, Paje, or somewhere else?

Danke 🙏🏾
I do appreciate your elaborate outline of the pros and cons. The only issue I have with most tourist locations is an occasional need for serenity and quiet. I'm just considering it as a vacation home(s) that I can also rent out when im not there. A rental car/shuttle business wouldn't be bad too. Thanks.
Good information, thank you!
Thank you for this useful information. I have always wanted to hear about the island of Zanzibar and glad to have come across your tube. Time has come for the Africans to rise up and embrace their homes. Thank you @PlanB-Back to Africa.
Honest opinion is always appreciated 😊
Always good to hear perspectives
@@pohcp3 True, I wish someone had told me about the challenges of living there.
@@planB-BacktoAfrica well, you are to be admired for your experiences. When you share others benefit and learn that’s why I subscribe to your channel. Thank you 😊

Excellent presentation -- very thorough
Glad you liked it!
I really appreciate your honesty. Great video
I appreciate that!
Enjoyed this clip. I hope that Starlink becomes available in Zanzibar. A little expensive, but very fast. Plus, in SA many are bypassing public electricity by installing their own solar panels since you were here. Best wishes in future
Very good talking and advice.😁🙏👏❤️
This was so helpful! I may have to rethink Zanzibar only because I work online and need a mostly consistent WiFi. .a lot of pros work for me
Thanks for sharing , visiting in december
never forget that Zanzibar is located in Tanzania and eastern Africa, therefore it belongs to black Africans and not to Arabs and Asian Indians.. in fact, the Arabs have to apologize to the Africans they enslaved for more than 700 years
The Omani slave traders owned the island for hundreds of years of yrs and the Indian settlers brought in goods from India but the locals remained at the bottom till today. Either she doesn’t want to tell the real history or up to something
@@Tefera-hf8fwThose trade routes don’t require modern ships so they have probably been going on for thousands of years. The focus on slave trade is probably an Islamic thing but the trade routes in general have been there thousands of years.
Sadly, the Omani royals still technically own the whole Coastal strip, including Mombasa.
That was so good and so real. Basketball is becoming a thing though. I had to subscribe to your channel. I look forward to seeing more of your content.
Thanks for a wonderful and informative clip.🌺
The wifi situation would not work for me. Sounds as if you would need a lot of patience. I have always admired their beautiful beaches, even though I'm from the Caribbean. Thank you for the information.
Very insightful!
Hi wini how are you I just found you on TH-cam and subscribe.
Originally rom Addis leave in Texas been to Zanzibar and loved it currently I worked for the state but planning to retire in Mexico after watch your video I start thinking about Zanzibar
Great video. Pleaae share your experience living in Nairobi too. What are the pros and cons.
She has done a video on that already. Look out for it.
Thanks for this thorough take!
My pleasure!
This was very informative. I'm traveling there early next year in January. I just subscribed. Do you have any videos on Nairobi Kenya? Please share with me. 🎉😂
Yes I have. Feel free to check them out 😊
I was debating between Zanzibar & Mombasa , but I think Mombasa is where to live as Internet and electricity is of paramount importance plus Mombasa or Malindi far more advanced
It doesn’t mean the situation will never improve in Zanzibar.
@timcamer4702 it's the attitude and culture that's the problem
Great video. It sounds like you are from Germany, which is not an issue. I am from Switzerland on my sabbatical. Indeed African countries did catch my interest. At least some of them appear to have their own view of how they see the world. Very bold and very brave. So yes keep it up and show us more videos outlining why African countries might be an option for a plan B.
Hey Weyni, that was a very informative video. You also have a very naturally soothing voice that’s captivating to listen to. I see you in even bigger platforms with your own show! What resources would you recommend for someone interested in purchasing land for growing spices like vanilla beans for export? Thank you
Wow, thank you 🙏🏾 unfortunately I don’t know much about vanilla farming, only what I learned during the spice tour in Zanzibar. But surely exporting vanilla would be a great business idea, since it’s the second most expensive spice in the world. I suggest to visit Zanzibar and do some research on this. 👍🏾
Don’t waste your money n time it’s all in the hands of the Indians in east Africa instead look out for other opportunities
I really appreciate your content I love you so much keep doing it
Very well done. Thank you
Thank you for sharing. It was wonderful. But, I didn’t hear about the weather??
Thank you for the video I’d love to visit!
Hi, Wehni. I love the music in your videos. Some I've never heard but the sound refreshes me. I am not planning to live in zanzibar, but I would like to get the contact information of your lawyer because I'm planning to move to Kenya. I have two young children therfore I did some research and I know the type of visa I will be applying for. Can you refer your lawyer if you can. Thank you in advance.
Thank you for this video. It was very informative and detailed. You very beautiful and intelligent as well.
Wherever you are.. I am interested in that country! Great video and presentation.
