As far as I can make out, you are playing the cornet with all the tuning slides, including the lead-pipe, pushed in as far as they can go, which would leave no margin for sharpening, if needed. So, like that you can tune to A440, but does this mean that the cornet plays flat in colder situations? Thanks in advance for your reply!
