When you decide on a diet keep in mind that how you lose the weight is how you are going to maintain. Make sure it's sustainable. As someone who has struggled with weight and yo yo over the last 20 years I suggest just eat regular but watching your portions (weigh and measure) and eat complex carbs, lean meats, fruits and veggies. I go by the 80/20 rule. 80% whole foods and 20% processed foods like protein bar and crackers. Start slow! You got this!!
It happens !!! Im clinically depressed and i would drink an entire bottle of wine in one day… that mixed with literally no physical activity made be blow up to the biggest ive ever been, im only 4:08 5’0 but 179lbs (im at 176 now) and were the same age, ill be 28 in December) but i knw exactly how you feel about the discouragement. My only advice for a fellow drinker and trying to lose weight is , if u drink, walk for AT LEAST 30 mins. It burns fat if u keep your heart rate in the burn zone. (Weight-age* .7) if u eat and drink walk for an hr! Its give and take but you got this babes!!!! Thank you for being vulnerable becausea lot of videos i see its of ppl already successful in their journeys and not at the starting point. And thats all we need, to see others working just as hard/wanting a change as much as ourselves do. Dont give up!!!! Its slow for the first several weeks (like 5 ngl) but after that, i PROMISE youll see the difference and you wont want to stop!!!!! 💕💕💕💕 dont be scared be excited how your new body will look all because of you 🤗🤗
omggg i just love you! thank you so much for this! i definitely wanted to show my starting point because i know how hard it is! i’m going to take your advice! i’m 5’4 idk if i stated that but that drinking is wearing my body down so im going to stop😭 because that no physical activity be a mf😅
You are definitely on the right track. Take your time and try a few different diets, one that you will be comfortable with. I have been dieting on and off maybe half my life, but it is what it is. I am currently doing the Omar diet and for some strange reason this is by far the best diet that I have ever tried. I am truly losing weight and I honestly don’t feel like I’m starving by eating only one meal a day. I stumbled on your channel, so I will be following you. God Bless you, and take it one step at a time❤
i’ve tried so many diets and it’s definitely discouraging but i will not give up! i’ve heard of that diet and most definitely will be giving it a try! thank you so much ❤
I’m so proud of you 💚 Now… some advice you didn’t ask for 😆 Diets are so hard poo! I don’t want you to get overwhelmed or discouraged. If you really want to start off slow to avoid that happening maybe instead of a full blown diet you pick one thing like not eating after dark or only eating chicken and fish and cutting the rest of the other meats out or no more fried meats only baked in the oven or you could say I’m going to make sure I eat a some fruit every morning. I could go on and on with examples but I hope you catch my drift. It may be easier to just have one habit to focus on each day and when you get disciplined with that thing, you can add another. Remember it only takes about a month to develop a habit. 💚 Keep us posted, you got this Goddess! Edit: Oh & take advantage of the warmer weather too, talking a walk in your neighborhood at a pace comfortable to you everyday early in the morning or in the evening when the sun is going down is great exercise
Thank you so much girl! I know I say this a lot but you’re amazing! Thanks for the advice I’m going to do just that. I’ll only eat chicken and leave the other stuff alone! No more fried foods which is going to be extremely hard lol
@@Charenia1 whatever you decide just focus on doing that one thing and just add more changes on as you go before you know it you’ll have progressed to living healthy than you did in the past 💚
Sending you lots of love and support. My weight loss journey started about 3 years ago. I'm currently 4lbs from my goal weight. I had bariatric surgery. But I tell you that all my successes and failures led me to accept that bariatric surgery was for me. I'm so glad I got it because even though I'm disciplined most of the time, I'm not disciplined enough to eat small meals consistently. I hope you understand what I mean. It was just hard to be consistent. Now I still struggle with consistency but the sleeve keeps me out of a lot of trouble 😂. This is definitely a journey of successes and failures. You will learn so much! Congratulations in advance!
see i wanted to look into having a surgery but im so afraid! it’s very hard to be consistent! you’re amazing thanks for sharing! i need something that’s going to help me be stay on track.
@@Charenia1 I'll try my best to watch and comment on all your videos 🤗. Try to be consistent in providing updates even if it's a short or a short sit down video. That's how you build a good amount of followers. Yes bariatric surgery is a game changer. I don't think it's the easy way out. It's a tool but you still have to put in some work if you want to reach your goals.
