Am so happy with JDiction UV Resin, absolutely wonderful on how it sets and at no time has it become tacky. That is the one thing I absolutely abhoor, tacky uv resin because after sitting under the UV lamp for 5 mins it's still not fully cured, but only 3 mins and the JDiction UV Resin is fully cured and ready to take on whatever else you want to do with it. Next shopping item, the JDiction 2 part resin, the outcome that I have seen with your pours and cured pieces, as well as the colors that seem to pop with it, sold me on the company.

I have started doing work with resin to occupy myself and it helps so much, I don’t have much but I just wanted to say thank you, thank you so so much

Hey, Steve! If you want to add bubbles, wait til it's at or close to gel stage. Take a clean pipette or a hypodermic syringe (best with needle) and direct those bubbles anywhere you like! It looks so cool! 😊👍

Oh my! I absolutely LOVE your pond!!! I will try your technic with my own fish as I have been planning to make my own pond for some time now. Then when I saw the finished pond in the mirror table, I was blown away! (Excuse the over use of exclaimed marks....but truly, my mouth was hanging open as I saw the table.). You have really outdone yourself with this project. Kudos to you Steve for this awesome piece. Gorgeous!!! 🥰👏🥳
Although this is perfect and beautiful just the way it is! I also think putting a resin glaze over the mirror in hues of blue and teal would have been lovely as well. Such a fun piece, it makes me want to do it too, but alas, I have no materials to do so. I still enjoy living vicariously through your videos… 🥹😊❤️ Beautiful and stunning, as always!
Trying regular resin finally! I’ve only used UV thus far. I’m so grateful for your channel. I really want to try the j-diction resin. I love their UV resin. This came out really cool.
Ok didn't see full video when I last commented. This is absolutely stunning. Brilliant 👏 What an amazing table. I also forgot that I never thought of the dried leafs. LOVE IT!
That's so cute. I have those goldfish. I take a few drops of black, a toothpick to make the drops not so round, let it sit for a little bit the add the other colors, a bit of the black blends in. Coy fish magic 😁
Hey Steve! I loved this! Would never have thought to set it in a table like this! How cool is that?? It gave me a bit of an idea though... What if you made another one of those (with the view of setting it in a table) but it was instead a zen garden, kinda thing? You know..with the combed white sand and the rocks, and you could have dried green moss around the edges, for greenery. The only stumper is how the hell you'd do the sand. Like, you'd have to make it "stiff" sand somehow, so you could comb it, and it'd stay in place as you poured resin over it. Not sure if you could mix sand and resin together and if it'd be enough to work it like that or not. I'll leave that one to you if you're feeling adventurous one day. :P I've never worked with resin before (although I plan to) so I really don't know it's properties like you would. I make things too, on occasion (though not as much as I used to), and even though I might not create as much these days, I still have the ideas. If you or anyone can use the dumb ideas that come out of my head, then all the better, lol! Have an epic day! :D
Oh my! I don’t resin, but from watching Steve’s videos, I imagine you could mix the sand with resin and comb through it like a zen garden! After it dries you could add to it with any other implements. Steve does sand textures in one of his videos… there was a mold of a female torso and he used multiple mediums as an experiment. Worth a view, and I believe the concept is absolutely doable!! Ooh, and if you had smooth stones instead of mirror, similar to a zen garden… 🤩 Sounds absolutely beautiful!!!!
Steve this is *gorgeous* what a smashing concept to fit your pond _into_ a tabletop .. I mean there are only so many trays one can use 😉 - a table on the otherhand is used daily! Double thumbs up👍👍
Ooh, I'm in love with the second fish color. So pretty! I might pick up those molds and try it brushed with the color-shift mica. Make it iridescent like a real fish.

Absolutely you can mix sand with resin. Make it stiff, comb it, let it sit...pour top resin over it...there you go! 😊
I have those fish molds! I'm gonna put mine in a small glass bowl.
