    2. Having extreme opinions; stereotyping and labeling
    3. Verbal formulas: I’m like this, I’m not like that
    4. Feeling frequently misunderstood
    5. Asking for opinion and being upset with the feedback
    6. Difficulty reading faces; not realizing one’s current state by their expression
    7. Feeling threatened by authorities’ presence
    8. Assuming people are having sex; imagination

I think people project their experiences on others, too. They assume because their life and experiences were a certain way that others' lives and experiences must've been similar because they can't begin to imagine that the truth may be vastly different than what they project.

I am reading the comments - And I agree with most of them - that you are really very wonderful and this is really insightful and brilliant stuff to think about - but there is no mention of your hair do - it is brilliant - loved seeing you come back from the barbers with a new look - Brings it all back down to you going about your business thinking about really deep things that you can share with the rest of us - I am delving into your teaching Deepak and totally appreciate you opening doors into my consciences - You are making a difference to my everyday life - really :) Thank you - with love Simone

Great Deepak! Thanks! I believe the false beliefs that we are separate and need love, want love, desire love seems perfectly normal. But really knowing that Love is already our permanent identity, as we reflect God's perfect image of us, can alleviate the illusion that we are missing something or need other persons to give us what we already have; to Love thy self as God loves us. Then we can get busy truly loving others rightly, and experiencing joyous, healthy love in return.

One reason why relationships don't last is because one may go in with too many expectations. Understand that expectations leave room for unhealthy attachments and disappointment.

Good morning! I stated a prayer to myself/Above before listening which I hope allowed me to be as open and observant/action-based in any other state especially judgement. I am in awareness now of many - which were known to me personally already of a below level consciousness of worth for myself - and can on now better understanding of your unique and experienced wisdom who I absolutely admire ... the recognition of a totally different mindset can identify each at a level of depth ... more so and am gratefully open to your precepts.. Namaste as this new day begins. I am in learning as a student only here as Eastern ways are much less understood although I feel I can at times, feel at ease and more comfort in its wonderful philosophies & music too. Thank you. Happy day ahead for myself anyway, of being in a more joyous love - and observance. And will in the future Hope to be brief... :)))))

Thank you and blessings Deepak .
In listening to your list Deepak my minds response inwardly is, "Welcome to the insanity of the programmed human mind, that has become our intimate enemy rather than our trusted friend ." What has been the purpose for this I am wondering or is this also just my own fearful mind speaking once again and a projection now and harsh judgment turned towards me and my own mind🤔
I feel like the wounded sacred warrior now who feels so worn down and weary at timesr Deepak, each time I allow this programming to fill me with the fear that has been my constant companion for far too long.
My false self related to every example you gave Deepak and spirit keeps whispering to my heart and soul saying " Keep smiling, keep shining and remember you are much more rhan your fearful mind and your worn down and broken body"❣️💖 What dies it mean to be a victim of crime over and over again and to allow ourselves to be injured over and over. I recently had yet another injury.
I am pretty sure I have every book and every audio you have created Deepak and they have been such a blessing to me on my soul's journey. I have also participated in your guided meditation series with Oprah and these resources have led me through many dark nights of the soul. All these resources are a light that shines on my path each time I am guided to reach for them, as I still do. So thank you for being such a wise, precious and wonderful soul, a guide and treasured mentor to me. You have no idea how many times I have wanted to leave this earth and right now it seems pretty inviting. What a blessing to remember I can sit still and expand my consciousness into higher realms to rise above this chaos and out beyond the darkness and density presently being expressed here on earth.
So here we are Deepak. What on earth shall we do❣️🤔
I guess we just keep rising and shining as we were created to and are still guided to do.🥰😍💖🙏💜🙏💝
My question is Deepak , "Is the creator, source energy, the living omnipresence at the center of the cosmos still laughing and feeling good about all this and is this what we are to do as souls here on earth or is source pretty darned tired of our behavior here on earth as I am right now.
Is this the collectives final wake up call and initiation into the higher states of consciousness needed here on earth
and is this awakening now, while here on earth all part of this mystical magical presence that wants us to expand also. Are we co-createing all this in harmony as multi-dimensional energetic vibrational beings🤔
    Words, words, words.!!!!
Without an awareness of alignment with spirit, within my heart and soul , with this vibrational energy source that seems to be the pure essence of what we refer to as LOVE I, definitely end up feeling lost and alone, fearful and searching for LOVE, safety and seeming connection in all the wrong places, like a fish gasping for it's breath of life on land . I, too, feel like that fish floundering around desperately wanting to be thrown back into the ocean. Is this our ultimate lesson individually and collectively to wake up and realize we are one with the cosmos and creation and have never been separate from this ocean of loving intelligence with it's abundant supply of divine guidance, love and grace and blessings available to all. Do we need to ask to be blessed with this divine guidance love and grace or is it merely in the willingness to be still, to be present and to become aware of this presence. Having faith in this guidance system does help me to feel safe, and loved and blessed and to be able to bless and love all of life in a state of gratitude and true love despite the outer
forces that are wishing to suppress our creativity and our desire to express and share this creativity in it's purest form❣️🙏💜🙏💝
It serms to me that FAITH in this is a leap I must be wiiling to take consistently, not just once in awhile ,and that it does live beyond all the B.S. of the worn out belief systems I have carried within me and must now go beyond consistently and with devotion to evolve while receiving and having total faith in the divine guidance, love and grace available to us all.
Blessings to all i n all of our life times here on earth and beyond as we learn to rise and shine❣️💖
    NAMASTE 🙏 💜🙏
    OM UNITY
    🙏💖❤🧡💛💝💚💝💙💜💖🙏👌
    🙏💜💝💚💙🌏💙💚💝💜🙏✌️

Hi Deepak. I liked the haircut. And maybe it's my projection (because I love them!!!) but... I think bright colors like light green, royal blue and flaming orange would look great on you and give you a great energy boost. I really enjoyed the video and in the last two days, I was rereading a book that I really like "Celestine Prophecy" and as incredible as it may seem, I believe that the message there is deeply related to your information here. Have a beautiful day. 💜

There are some excellent points here. The phenomenon of projection is important for each of us to understand & take response-ability for within each relationship. If one person continuously feels misunderstood, there may be real truth to this. And/or she/he/they may need to look at this pattern within themselves & their lives. Too often a person who is a wife & mother is misunderstood because of the devaluing of mothers & wives, for instance & serious sexism & misogynist attitudes that are destructive to women. These insidious attitudes are brought into female-male relationships causing tremendous harm. Men have to understand how there is a real oppressor-victimization pattern that is taking place which they are actively contributing to. Women in turn need to understand the victim programing that they may be participating in as well. To give full responsibility to a wife-mother who persistently feels misunderstood & not look at the family dynamic, the fact that women are often mansplained & devalued by men, etc is an issue & problem. When someone asks another for their opinion & the answer is not respectful or is devaluing in some way, it is understandable that the individual who asked the question might be hurt or angry as a result. Gaslighting can be a result of one person choosing not to truly hear & understand what another person's feelings, thoughts & experiences are. Or sometimes two people are not hearing & understanding each other. The ability & instinct to read other's emotions is an important tool. There are many times when we make assumptions about what feelings we are sensing or interpreting. It's always good to ask a person what they are feeling/thinking if we can so our assumptions do not color our impressions & responses.

    • @dani323
      @dani323 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@Elizabeth I believe it was Maya Angelou who said, we teach others how to treat us.
While I understand your post more than you would think, us women, must take responsibility (not the kind people talk about; but the kind that we take the power away from others to stop blaming/excuses and take charge of our lives.)
      I firmly believe,
      1) who is birthing and raising the men?
2)us women have gone to an extreme.
3)we choose to stay within the social conditioning we are comfortable/imposed in.
There are exceptions. I’m speaking at a broader general perspective.
Women in charge, the majority, are more difficult to work with. They give a hard time to other women. Women in high government positions, senate, congress, judges, do not teach those of us in general population about laws they make to make our lives more difficult. Instead, they join hands with a *BROKEN SYSTEM to perpetuate their power and our oppression.
Look up (from supreme Ct⤵️. And see what is coming down from the top.
Is there 1 woman, 1, right now, in our government, we can look up to with honor, trustworthy, genuinely and truly feel proud of for their efforts that is teaching us to navigate through or is she just securing her way, deceitful, and hypocritical fulfilling a role? Look carefully.
(I used to think of Nikki Haley. I don’t know now. I haven’t heard/followed her in a while.) 😔Recently, I watched Justice Sonia Sotomayor on TH-cam with a class of 6th graders. But, do they dedicate time to us, women, to teach us about our legal rights , equip us with the power of knowledge for confidence, and protection? Is it not their responsibility as well for being in a position most of us women would need help with? Again 😔

It’s that when our state of awareness is unable to invoke romantic gestures from a significant other .. we get fearful or feel rejection. If we r anole to have sense control & ecstasy in our own awareness… then we can be at ease in all romantic relationships… imo

I've decided that people can only know others if they know themselves. Many people, even friends, family, co workers,....tend to put the way they interpret the world, onto you. They make their insecurities. Our insecurities. We can become petty if we allow petty into our space. We can become negative if we let negativity into our space. We can become overwhelmed if we allow un healthy persons into our space. I'd rather be single than have to daily guard myself against the words of the person that I was just hoping to love and grow with.

This is pretty interesting. Sure this is partially true. Depending on who you are in a relationship with. Plus there are degrees of these behaviours. They sort of sound like things not to do if you are in a relationship with Deepak. :) Most intelligent mature people can have enough understanding, compassion and the communication skills to overlook or work through any of these issues. It takes two. Anyway. I like the advice. Just not sure if there are any hard and fast rules about this though. Some good insights. Looking forward to the coming videos on how to maintain relationships. This might be more helpful. By the way, I am not sure about the haircut either. Maybe take more control and be firm with your hairdresser about what you want. Anyway. It's not that bad but not that good. Funny how the old school barbers who aren't mucking around just tend to do a better job. Next time you could maybe wait until he's open again. ☺️ stay cool. Thanks Deepak. Really liked the video about coffee. Hi to your Brother.

The root to all of this is our contribution to suffering opposed to reducing suffering. We cause the most amount of unfathomable suffering on this earth from murdering trillions of animals a year while barely feeding 7.9 billion people, 7.9 billion people whose leading cause of death is heart disease.

Most of thinkers remain on the periphery and have no idea of reality thought they think that what they think is reality.....
Only with intense spritual practice one can have some idea of the stuff spirituality they r dealing with and it's surely not about writing books....this is what Maya does with majority of them .....

I like all your teaching simple not complicated, specially who speaks English as second language like yourself:) And I wonder if you consider about words bring more meaning in varies human culture and makes more difficult, and obstacle to our new universal culture and communication to make progress. For example, on your list of
projection to other folks the last point of jealous about sexual act might not be the good word b/c there is more into it than just jealous

Sorry sir. Please forgive me....I watched one of your previous videos where you spoke about Fake Gurus....I projected my own insecurities and inadequacies, misunderstood you and took your words personally. I felt sad and had stopped watching your videos. Thanks for making me aware of my mistake and teaching about these 9 behaviours.....By the way, i am not a Guru or an enlightened master. I have Bipolar disorder yet i am making sincere efforts to evolve spirituality....Sorry once again for misunderstanding your words.Thank you. I love you
