    Hi Tracey, Andy & Billy, wonderful video. Such amazing views from Hay Stacks. You can certainly see why it was Mr Wainwrights favourite hill. The view over to Great Gable is just spectacular. Thanks for sharing your adventure with us.
    All the best
    Dave

    Innominate Tarn must have been certainly a very very special place for the legendary Mr A Wainwright to choose as his last port of call as he will have walked & seen some 'special' places in The Lake District in his time! But what a terrific place to have your ashes scattered 😊 You captured Haystacks very well & the views down the valley towards Buttermere & Crummock Water sublime ❤ the time lapse footage & now drone footage has 'upped the anti' 😊😊 Tracey your worde quoting Mr Wainwright & music did the old guy proud.! Great video this with you Andy & Billy Bob 🐕🐶 what we the viewers have to understand is how much effort goes into making these vlogs especially now with added drone footage, so there's a lot of editing to do after all the filming...credit to you BOTH for what you do..& yeah Tracey this has set me up in a great frame of mind for the rest of Sunday..zThank You...keep up the excellent channel 💯 👌

    Every credit to you. This is one of the best, if not the best video I've seen of Haystacks. I love this whole area of The Lakes and you've captured it in all it's glory. Breathtakingly beautiful. Well done and thanks a million for posting. PS if you haven't been yet, next time you're up there pay a visit to Warnscale Bothy. You will get some great photo shots up there especially around sunset.

      Thanks very much David that's made my day. I think it's my favourite place in the Lakes. I have been to Warnscale Bothy only once in a very wet day, but I do have a print of the Bothy at sunset on my wall form a photographer that lives in The Lakes, so I do want to do this and see it for myself. Thanks very much for your comment. Atb to you

    Honister pass is out of this world, spent many nights sleeping under the stars there when weather permitted.

      No, just on the hillside near the bottom( just over the little bridge) parked my motorbike up , took sleeping bag off back and just chilled out all night til next morning, heavenly.👍@@Traceyattrill-Essexgirlinwild

    You do seem to be having a bit of a run on good weather, Andy’s drone shots compliment your Go-pro footage very well (or was that you flying it?) spectacular views from the top.

    Beautifully shot video, so congrats on that. We are doing this walk next month. How long does it take from honister to haystacks would you say? And is the route easily navigable?

    • @Traceyattrill-Essexgirlinwild
      @Traceyattrill-Essexgirlinwild  ปีที่แล้ว

      I reckon if you walked at a slowish pace then about 2 hours from the mine and the route is easily navigable. The only issue would be the beck one has to ford just after the dubs hut quarry but there are stepping stones but in high spate some might struggle but otherwise its a really good path. Enjoy its a real gem.
