Adelaide’s beautiful Grace Emily Pub is where we saw their sublime show in December 2023. Absolutely amazing! Thank you Mick and Amanda. Your performance was heartwarming and stunning ❤
...gosto muito desta versão, mais até que a original e por este motivo, e outros, estarei em Coimbra, Portugal, para testemunhar ao vivo esta e outras canções! parabéns pelo álbum e muito bem-vindo ao nosso país mais uma vez!!!
Same song - two different messages….at least as how I conceive and feel it. Pat Benatar sings in the original version from the perspective of someone who is quite young, full of energy and currently in love, but whose love is being misunderstood or rejected and who is confused about that. She screams out her desperation, anger and longing for love. It conveys the inner conflict (the fight on the inner battlefield) between attraction to this person and the anger about the misunderstanding or rejection - but also holds the final realization that such experiences are part of growing as an individual and that you are strong enough to overcome such feelings. This interpretation reflects a lost love in a flashback and tries to understand, remember or process these feelings in a retro perspective. As usual in such a phase, there is lots of grief, self-doubt, self-pity and low or negative energy. Personally, I find Pat Benatar‘s interpretation better - more powerful and positive….also perhaps those songs have been the soundtrack of my own youth. They mean a lot for my generation.
Well, I would disagree that that is the message in our version. It is the SAME message but it has been transformed into a dialogue between the two singers. It’s no more complicated than that

I can’t believe I actually believed Prostitutes just danced.
Found that out the hard way.
....what?
Unintelligible. Learn English properly if you are going to leave comments. We don't know what you are even trying to say
In the Pat Benatar video she gets kicked out of the house when she's about 35...lol. Awful song.
Hah!!
Get a life
Nice
Great cover, terrible video. :)
