So true. I immediately noticed that they kicked it down a half step, and I thought, "Uh-oh, how's her voice?" But even if she can't get to those high notes, her voice still sounds great! Strong as ever. I also love that she and Neil have one of the few long-lasting relationships in rock. Wish I could see this whole episode.

I'm 50 yrs old & have worked in NYC as an artist & producer for 25+ years now. I can assure you there's just as much musicality happening today as there was in the 80s, (more, because there's more access) the difference is people like yourself don't seek it out, because you're happy listening to music from your youth. There's amazing music out there that has zero to do w/AI, but you're too rigid & stuck in your ways to notice. So stop painting the world thru the narrow lenses you see it thru, & get a grip.

Neil is top shelf - even more now... he just seems to get better every year. And Pat - you will never know how much we loved you... still do. What a set of pipes & fingers. Please keep it up guys - and thanks profusely for not dying your hair. Be who you are now - couldn't be any better. Cheers to you & the band! 👍👍✌️

I was introduced to Pat Benatar via MTV in the early 80's with the" You better Run" video and slightly later the " Love is a Battlefield" video. I was hooked by Benatar amazing voice and sex appeal. I finally met her at a meet and greet in 2017 and she is so cool. The concert was amazing and her voice is still perfect !!

The young bands could learn from their performances and staying power, as they have toured relentlessly all the way since 1979 through to the present, married each other in 1982, and have two adult daughters born in 1985 and 1994, so they have balanced themselves well.

There are a few things that seem clearly slightly off even on Promises in the Dark ... but from a individual shot vid it doesn't seem to be off and even a dif in Promises in one guitar spot 130 ish in the fan vid the TV vid is longer and seems cleaned up .... is it possible the show was live (except backing track) and for TV editing things were cleaned up? I luv PB but the individual's vid on Promises in particular Pat seems no way near as smooth or clear to me as the TV vid ... she's great IMHO esp at her age but maybe it's editing for TV dubbing or something and she really was live for the show ??

@@jasonburger3533 Her lips don't match the vocals. Her microphone movements also betray her lip synching. It's OK, no one expects her to have those pipes at her age. Besides, this was for TV. It's also possible they re-recorded the vocals after the performance. That is often done for live albums and films (parts are touched uo in studio after the live show.)
