Often in the processing of data their graphical representation in #Excel it is necessary to use a coordinate system consisting of more than one axis in the “y” direction. For example, this could be used when plotting the main pump operating curves (head, power and efficiency) in a common coordinate system.
There is really great lack of information on how to create 3 (vertical) y-axis in Excel, especially concerning "Scatter with Smooth Lines and Markers” charts.
The data used in accomplishing this task is taken from a manufacturer (#VIPOM) catalog curves of an existing centrifugal pump by using a specialized software (#Engauge_Digitizer).
In a previous video tutorial (podcast), information about which may be found in the content of this video, the data scanning and their transfer to #Excel is demonstrated.
For plotting of the three operating curves of the selected pump of a type 25E20 produced by #VIPOM company the original pump curves diagram is used.
This video demonstrates in detail (step by step) how to plot these curves in a common coordinate system, consisting of 3 vertical y-axis.
