The relation between flow rate and the Head you have mentioned needs to be checked as far as i know head is inversely proportional to flow rate. The characteristic curve for any pump suggests that at highest flow rate there will lowest head. Please correct me if am wrong
Sir these formulas are helpful in calculation of new value but sir how to calculate the original at the first time ( when we dont know the original ones) Suppose i need a air compressor to suck (1/2) kg of weight in a pipe then how i calculate the values ??

Hello. Nice question! Running a centrifugal pump in reverse rotation mode will, in certain conditions, create a turbine effect. This coud be an efficient method of generating energy as well as recovering energy and contributing to energy savings. Isn't there a relation between number & dimension of the blades on the impeller and the parameters ? I mean the larger the blades the more liquid it will pump and the more power it will require so the less the number of blades the less liquid it will pump and the more rpm are required to achieve the same efficiency
Hello. Thank you so much for your question! To find New Head Pressure when we want to chance the RPM, in this case we have to square both original and modified RPMs. RPM is related to shaft speed and if we look at the second affinity law: "Head is proportional to the square of the shaft speed". We hope will be of help. Dear sir, I need your help that, we run a centrifugal pump which is 22 kW motor head is 40 Meters, discharge is 140 cubic metres per hour and discharge pipe Dia is 6" of 385 metres long and 165 metres of 2"branch pipes. But the thing is we need 7020 ltrs per minute, actually it is 2330 ltrs per minute.so please help me regarding this matter to improve the quantity of water and suggest and send design calculation formulas, which is helpful for me in future. We don't need to change anything or do calculations, but it is good to know how to calculate. Thank you! 😊

Please let know the formula of finding the horse power of pump.
thanks inside web team for this new video
James company could you reply the question below for Fabio Clavenna which is to me a very important question. Thanks.
nice video 🤗
Very useful content, many thanks

That's correct. Maximum head is when the flow rate is zero.
Magnificent content ☺️
thanks you
Superb thanks ❤️❤️❤️
wonderful information !
Are these formulas used to change the existing values what if need to first values?
Thanks for the beautiful explanation of affinity laws. i think Power will be 50.4 HP instead of 54.3 HP in the second last case
Excellent

How do you convert ftH2O to kpa?
Hi
Can understand the formulas and substitute
But how do you get the modified gpm instead of orginal gpm?
Can you explain that
I'm also wondering about the same thing, how did he calculate the modified gpm and used it in formulas
