I kind of wish that upon forming the USA, the culture would switch to American.
American culture didn't even exist until just before the civil war in the real world timeline so why should it here
any colony in the thirteen colonies colonial region can culture shift to american when the decision to form the american nation is activated

Yeah the american culture is quite heavily based upon the revolution (like that jumpstarted it) so if england simply released them peacefully like 200 years in advance it'd be very different

Dude you should try hearts of iron 4
I do actually have HOI4 altough the thing is that the part that I like the most about paradox games is the empire building aspect of it, and that is kind of limited in Hearts of Iron due to the game only lasting for 12 years.
Altough if people really want to see it I could probably go ahead and try to upload some Hearts of Iron videos but I have to warn you that I'm not nearly as good at HOI4 as I'm at EU4.
+Dovska You should get the August Storm mod, it let's you play until 1999. It also adds various techs. I don't have to rush so much when I play now because of it.
It doesnt end after the 12 years, you can play as long as you want to.
+Steve Bass After the latest patch it does. Originally it ended in the in the 50's. Also there isn't any new tech added, so why would you play longer?

My OCD is so triggered by the Orinoco Delta not being annexed and thus not completing the Caribbean circuit with Trinidad.
Conquest of Mexico. One second later has acquired all of French Mexico.
I tried to do this a while ago, didn't get the east coast locked down, and tried to fight Spain for Florida. While I was burning manpower there, Fraxico became really big and the colony never separated, so there was a block of France and Spain allied and holding me back. Fun though!

How can you colonize Greenland as England by 1474 ??? It is out of your colonial range by about 170 even with Overseas Exploration ! This makes no sense. You can't Colonize that far and Fleet Blessing Rights don't give colonial range.
So how did you colonize there?
It is quite simple actually, I just saved up all my diplomatic power and researched diplo tech 7 as soon as it was available which was way ahead of time.

I still don't get it. I got to diplo 7 at around 1474 and had explored the necessary land as England. I could still not colonize that piece of land you colonized in 1474. Am I doing something wrong or is it because of a new patch. Btw I have all DLC's activated? Can you maybe elaborate how you got to colonize in 1474?

He was probably admin focussed ALL game. lol. So much to core.
It is normal ironman, it honestly was not so bad since taking and coring colonies tend to be pretty cheap but the reduced admin efficency did help a lot.
