I"d like to add a thought about nasty comments: If someone tries to hurt me, he/she will go for the easiest, most visible treat. And in transition time or at full grey, nothing is easier than that. I keep in mind, that it's not truly about my hair, it's just random garbage thrown at me and I I'm not going to pick it up. I like to ask Was this meant helpful or harmful? 😊
Exactly! Gromble it is! I'm 8 months in my journey and it feels so good... I mean I don't want to rush anywhere, I don't feel I need to do anything other than care for my hair as much as I did when I used to dye it.... ❤
All is the same, I tried going cold turkey and it was awful and traumatizing experience, after 5- 6 months I started coloring them again, it was so humiliating getting haircut, as hairdressers would judge you, so this time I went smarter about it, going around like a skunk wasn’t for me, I still need to go to the office and look presentable, so I found a hairdresser who understood me, grew out grey for couple of months and then consulted with her and she advised highlights/contouring of strands at my face, where I have most grey, now growing out is more comfortable to me
I’m so sorry I just started dying my hair at 70!!!!! I’m so sick of it and it all started because a “friend “ asked me if my sister was younger than me. Who is 3 yrs older and dying her hair since she was 18!!!!! I’m going to get back my Salt and pepper locks in 2025. 😂
Great!!! Can you give me some tip, being that my hair is only around 10 cm long? I have had enough of stinky smelly amoniac, itchy scalp... Tried dies without amoniac, they were melting, dirting my linnen. I am 48 now. Started colouring around mid 30s... Now for a month without covering my silver hair, but it already looks wierd and big contrast...
Thank you, I needed this today. My grow out is getting frustrating but I want to stick it out! 💙
Same here! Let's rock it ❤
Haha love the message at the end

Love you too. I actually got salt and pepper individual braid extensions and not only does it look cool, my hair is down my back!❤😂
Enjoy the growth.... don't ruin your hair.

I’m expecting people to think I’ll look a lot older with gray hair, but I’m okay with that! ❤ I’m so glad you’re going back to your gray! Rock it!!
