Today I'm sharing with you an in depth review on one of my all time favorite baby products! This extremely wide, unique and versatile baby gate is made by the brand Regalo and I honestly have no idea how we would ever manage to spend time in the heart of our home, without this gate!

After looking at reviews and doing a little research, I decided to go ahead and order this gate. We actually have three littles, who don't necessarily need to be blocked or closed off. They're 7, almost 5, and 2 now. But I recently started watching another little again. He's 18 months old and figured I should really baby proof. Especially because my background is preschool teacher and I get asked pretty frequently about watching other children since I'm a stay at home mom now. Our new gate will be arriving today! So after just watching your video(for knowledge of self installation), I am so smitten with this purchase and it hasn't even arrived yet! Thank you so much for all the details and information you provided! You are amazing! You answered any and all questions I had pertaining to this product! I'm so excited to get this and set it up! And here I thought my husband would have to after work. 😉

Mine arrived looking like it was dropped off a truck with broken shipping supports and of course the missing screws... a lot of reviews on Amazon are like that. It didn't really matter though, nothing was damaged although it did force me into the petri dish known as Home Depot.
No matter how you slice it, if you have a 16 ft sectional gate secured only at its endpoints, it is going to slide all around. You have to figure out a way to secure it in the middle, if you don't want it to slide
How do you prevent it from scratching wood floors?
Any idea where to get replacement screws used to join sections?
Someone gave me one of the 30" gates with a lot of panels but it was broken so I disassembled the whole thing .I took measurements and made a custom gate to fit in the doorway to my master bedroom, where I keep 2 litter boxes for my cats. I use the gate with a panel on each side, attached to the doorway on both sides .It does a good job of keeping my dogs out of the bathroom ( and I have plenty of spare parts)They don't even try to get past this gate.
Does this gate have to be Screwed into the wall interested in purchasing but wanting a freestanding gate for my little Chihuahua
Has anyone been able to figure out the wall mount option with odd number of panels? I can set up brackets on both sides with 6 panels (including gate) but not with 5?
Does it fold against the wall flush
Does it attach to the wall
Can the door be moved?
I’d have no complains if the entire middle of the gate didn’t just slide around all over the place. How is the bottom not at least rubber or something super grippy? Then when the kids push on it you can practically hear the screws coming out the wall. The two panels closest to the wall are secure.. the rest just slides everywhere.

Is it possible to put/move the actual gate opening part in a different area of the pen? The gate is not in a good area for us to walk through where it is positioned.
Yes! The gate location is very easily changeable! We actually just had to reposition ours because of a change in furniture in our home! Super simple! =)
@@JanettesCozyCorner I just bought this, I tried to move gate and became frustrated so put it back together so easy? I must be doing something wrong.
Maybe you could do a video showing how to move the gate to a different location?

The one I got sucks this one looks different and a different door hinge mine is easy for kids to find out

Hi, can the panels be secured to avoid the child moving them as shown in your video?
Sorry, I thought I responded to you a few days ago. So the only way to give the panels a more secured feel so kids can't move them is to have a more accurate fit. Our opening was just a few inches off of not needing one extra panel, so now we have close to an extra panels worth of slack, which causes the movement. If your opening was more accurate to a certain number of panels it would be more secured with less ability to move around. I hope that all makes sense and helps! =)

I mean to make it shorter depends on the width we're we want to fix them?
Yes you can either add on to the length of the gate (like we had to do) or shorten the length of the gate by removing however many panels necessary! =)

We just got this yesterday and I was trying to remove 3 of the panels are our opening is only 10ft, but I was having a hard time figuring out how to get them to connect, can the plastic bottom and tops be removed and flipped to help attach to a different panel? Thank you
This is not as advertised beware. When I got it the box was torn open and so was the screw bag. Only six screws were in the box. Of course I am worried about losing a choking hazard. Some of the bars were bent and it is not adjustable as they say. It would be good for a play yard but not a fire place gate.
Wow that's surprising to hear! I'm not affiliated with this company but I have spoken to them regarding this video and the few that I've talked to have been really responsive. If I were you, I would definitely give them a call and have them send you a replacement. We still have this gate up, over a year later, we've had to make some minor adjustments but nothing serious. I hope that you can get this resolved!
Janettes CozyCorner just got it yesterday the UPS guy noted the damage I opened it this morning while my 15 month old granddaughter was playing near. The screw bag was opened and three screws were in the box floating around three in bag and two missing. I was a bit freaked out thinking I missed them but the baby would find them. Looked everywhere and vacuumed etc. I assume this product had been returned and the screws were just missing. I was able to take 4 panels out and it will work as a fireplace gate. I put four panels in the garage. My main concern was the baby getting ahold of the screws. I had read the screws were not good anyway so I threw them away and will use better ones. It was sold on Amazon so I think I just got a returned product.
