My wife and I have been binge watching you for a bit and even though I don't have access to fish saltwater (we live in Indiana), watching you has energized us to fish more often. Thanks.
I took the course a few months ago and had my venting tool and decending device within 3 days. Ive already used that decending device a dozen times. Absolutely worth it.
"Good Lord, it's like you got a freakin anchor... " BAAAHAAA!!! I'm still rolling off the commentary! LOL! Appreciate Y'all! Made the end to a long day enjoyable.
First of all that was some crazy action right from the start, great camera footage, great test on that gear you're using.. Sharks popping up out of nowhere nice cloud cover Awesome video
Great video again. Nice sharks out there....Hooked one last Aug wi grandkids. Their dad took over and couldn't turn him. Guide said we would be there for long while. He got off, or was cut off! Kids loved seeing large manta ray come under boat(8' across) 30 of so miles out...
I’ve dove on the ones off Pensacola. Right after they were dropped, it was pretty awesome to go down and see a tank with its gun pointing out into the water sitting on the white sand. The last time I dove them, they had subsided under the sand quite a bit. Some of them, only the tread was left exposed. Glad to see the ones off Gulf Shores are still upright.
IMHO, TRIGGERS ARE THE BEST TASTING FISH IN THE GULF. MY WIFE SEZ FLOUNDER, LOL! BUT THEY ALL TASTE GREAT PREPARED AND COOKED CORRECTLY...WHICH OF COURSE, YOU DO, LOL!! LOVE YOUR VLOGS.
Just got a 25’Bay Boat that I plan on going offshore with on calm days. Lotsa bay and flats experience but no offshore. I live in Corpus Christi Texas and plan to visit near shore rigs and man made reefs. Need advice on tackle, setups, baits. Etc…… Watch your channel daily but need some more in depth info. If you don’t mind. Love you channel and hope to hear from you soon
Best advice I can give is go to your local or nearest popular tackle shop and tell them your intentions/plans of what you want to target. They should be able to set you up from there!
When ever I saw tanks listed on the charts I always thought it was like some sort of water tanks. I never thought of them being actual battle tanks, and I have fished em a bunch. 😂
My first time commenting on your awesome videos been a subscriber for about 9 months now but I lol at 1:08 in the beginning of the video how the rod bent down then you said OH MY GOSH 😂😂😂 good stuff keep the content coming god bless 🙌
Gosh, I'd so love to be out there fishing with you. I was born with a fishing pole in my hand, LOL I love saltwater fishing, and someday, I hope to go out deep sea fishing. I've done the inshore, pier, and surf fishing, but I would love to go further out and do some deep water fishing. I live in WV, so I only get to saltwater fish when we go to the beach on vacation. Thank you for sharing your fishing videos. Stay safe out there, and God bless.
i got a question why do you hold the rod like that when you are jigging w the spinning reel won’t holding it at the at the sponge be better and more efficient
Thought we were going to have shark steaks for little bit there. Nice fishing trip. Got a question for you about the descending tool for the red snappers, have you ever had big fish are shark eat the fish before while you were descending the fish? Still would love to go fishing with you.
hey man, i have a 3000 nasci with 15 lb braid and my rod broke on a cobia on the pier, and all i have now is a 15 to 25 lb rod do you think that would be ok or a bit too heavy
By the way, you should try mullet if you were to try I’m sorry, but I want to tell you the best fish and you think it’s very very bad but try lizard fish. I swear I tried it once so it takes a little bit to get bones out but try it it’s very good.
Army had a huge depot full of m60 tanks after the Cold War and instead of disposing in a "landfill/graveyard" they decommissioned / stripped em and made them into numerous reefs that are still providing structure for fish today!
Dude that hook removal off that shark was an absolute pro move
Getting ready to move be in the area next 30 days reels oiled tight lines in da future
It was an "on the spot" idea that worked great! Thank you

Another fantastic video man. Killin' it!
Great video
I enjoyed the video as always. Thanks for the entertainment. Has there been any progress that you've noticed on GSP fishing Pier.
They've been steadily working , just gotta depend on calmer winds!
Very nice! I bet the sharks love the red snapper on the descending device. They chase them going up and then get a free meal going down.
Oh I bet so too
Love your fishing, you sure do a good job of picking days to go offshore, can you tell us how you pick them?
Thank you! I just really plan trips based off this forecast from NOAA: www.weather.gov/marine/mobmz
Love this one some awesome action with the shark catching and releasing! Quality fun video as always thank you!
I'm happy to share! Thanks for taking your time to comment!

I ate fresh sandperch everyday for 2 weeks never got sick of it. Delicious fish and easy to catch

great vlog brother
The Amico jacks make good fish tacos!
Nice job 💯
Underwater video was great. I even watched the ads. 😂
I really enjoyed your video. It was informative and entertaining. I'm also using some of your tips in my own fishing videos.

Hehe, I love Ricky either way haha! He's just a lil pup lol
When ever I saw tanks listed on the charts I always thought it was like some sort of water tanks. I never thought of them being actual battle tanks, and I have fished em a bunch. 😂
Haha yeah it's super cool knowing they are down there!
Great video Steven. I'm itching to get out soon, you make it harder not to take a day off. lol Take care and be safe out there.
Shark ID...as far as I can tell on video... that was a gray one. Nice save on the jig.

Love the vid bro. That device you used on that snapper is sweet! Crazy how it works. I learn something new every time i watch one of your new videos!
Bro can’t stop making bangers🔥
I'll be at Orange Beach for a Staind concert May 14th. I'm a fisherman from Louisiana. Interested in meeting up?
nice one love the videos
Looks like great fun
Do a CnC on those sand perch!
I did one a few months ago, next time I'll film a ccc again for em! th-cam.com/video/0MeVstnUlng/w-d-xo.html
love it
i got a question why do you hold the rod like that when you are jigging w the spinning reel won’t holding it at the at the sponge be better and more efficient
Just comfortability. Best technique is hold up high for leverage but we're all human and just do what we can haha!
fun fishin, lot better when seasons come in ,some good info steven, keepit commin..godbless..
I love your show brother 🏆👍👍
Great venting
How do you keep the bait caster from bird nesting?
You love your job! Wish I even liked mine. Good job 👍
I really appreciate you for respecting our nation's beautiful fish!
Thanks for taking the extra effort to descend them.
Btw how big do those sand perch get?
Loved the under water footage 👍👍. Headed your way in a month. Can't wait to park myself in the sand n watch the sun come up n the rods bend.
Wheres the catch and cook??❤😂😂
do you have a link for that descending device?
Here ya go: returnemright.org/about-us/gear-signup/
thank you!@@BamaSaltwater
Hey Bama, what's your top 5 fish you like to catch for eating?
1) Wahoo
2) Scamp Grouper
3) Triggerfish
4) Flounder
5) Mullet
Thought we were going to have shark steaks for little bit there. Nice fishing trip. Got a question for you about the descending tool for the red snappers, have you ever had big fish are shark eat the fish before while you were descending the fish? Still would love to go fishing with you.
I personally have not but I could not vouch if they ate them once they were "released" Dolphin and sharks like an easy meal
Aww just what the doctor ordered a fishing video on a rainy day.
Can I make a request video plz could u do a pompano video plz
How do I know when I need to spike a fish vs just throwing them on ice? Btw, love this channel.
I work at the Anniston Army Depot!
That's awesome!! So much logistics and support that goes into it is amazing to see! I was a Driver and Gunner on an M2A3 Bradley
I’m going down to orange beach and I was wondering if you were recommending any spots
Seawall under the bridge can be good during tide changes!
Awesome two days of fishing... that shark (under water shots) was really cool....but no thanks...lol
I am amazed at the number of barracuda in the Gulf
We always called those "sand perch" but the official name is "bank sea bass".
These deep sea fishing videos you should make a little longer. The're "Great" !!! tony! Just like frosted flakes and real cream used to be.
What size and brand boat? Bay boat?
What rode were u using on your spinning set up
Crowder Enamic Spinning Rod 6'6" 50lb rating , it's a beast of a rod
@@BamaSaltwater thank you

Might be a little heavy for the 3000 but it should still work.
@@BamaSaltwater thx man, will use it until I can save up for a nice rod instead of buying a cheap one 👌
By the way, you should try mullet if you were to try I’m sorry, but I want to tell you the best fish and you think it’s very very bad but try lizard fish. I swear I tried it once so it takes a little bit to get bones out but try it it’s very good.
I Love mullet. It's personally one of my favorite fish to eat when fresh,
Have you ever considered selling some of the equipment you don't use any more to your subscribers...lol
Let’s go crabbing seen all the baskets
Second here also haven’t even watched the vid yet but I already have a smile on my face
I'd like to see how you dock, load and unload your boat and equipment, behind the scenes if you catch my drift.
Definitely. You give every detail but that. Let's see @bamasaltwater
interesting , old army tanks , guess they make a great reef
crazy fact, Bank sea bass start life as females and then change to male after three to four spawning seasons.
Interesting to know!
What do u run ur motor at rpm wise
3000-5500 depending on speed I want to go
Okay sweet thanks for replying and not being rude like these other youtubers 😂
no worries lol@@DavidCThomas
A Lemon Shark?...🌏☮AND💜✝
Goliath time
You were my mom’s store today
Nice
Catch a shark and grill him up
done a few months ago and it was delicious! th-cam.com/video/FrdNGogbVvg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=XFz_-DpU_1k_IF7c
(Red snapper….)
You cant beat a cooler full of sand perch
I don't know why people complain about catching sharks. I caught a 300 lb lemon in the keys that took an hour and a half to get in. What a blast.
They're fun for sure! Just a nuisance to deal with when trying to land smaller species !
@@BamaSaltwater catch a few of the bigger sharks and tire them out. Then catch your pompano or w/e maybe that'll help keep them whole
👍
Really bending that rod! What is it? What is story of the tanks,????
Classified info of the tank🤣
Artificial reef, like they do with ships.
