I'm very proud to work there. I'm the third generation to walk those floors. My grandfather and my father were both retired from Reynolds metals. They smelted aluminum and I smelt data
I am a data center professional with 2+ decades of experience and I suggested this to Massena's mayor a few years ago, Tim Currier, not sure if that's how it happened, but glad to see it did. Great location for such an operation.
I am a blockchain investor and cryptocurrency miner myself. I must say that this is the smartest bitcoin mining setup I have ever seen. I began investing in Riot about 10 months ago and it is finally starting to pay off. I am glad to learn that Riot partnered with Coinmint in this facility. I am curious to know what percentage of capacity the facility is currently running at and how long might it take to reach full capacity. The modular setup impresses the hell out of me. Genius.
For transaction fees to be greater than mining reward, only Bitcoin Cash is a viable long term solution. Good news is that it is easy to switch to the SHA-256 based BCH as BTC has given up on layer-1 scaling and instead focussing on LN that requires trusted third parties to operate and stealing miners fees that break the Bitcoin incentive model.

I should add I graduated from Massena High School in 1984 :-)
@Michael E Campbell I do not. I'm now 2600+ miles away in Silicon Valley, so I am not in touch as much as I'd like to the local effects.
@Michael E Campbell Cheers, and same to you

When will the flippening occur?
