maverick's is NOT a realism mod. It removes a lot of the realism features in favor of snappier gunplay. Still super fun to play with, but maybe install the harder difficulty of PDO to balance out the buffs you get in combat.
i tried 1899 weapons personally but it makes the player way too weak. thought maverick wasa good weapons overhaul for the time. I have been looking at Munitions for the upcoming V2 for this list but its been giving me a pain in the ass. Also PDO is hot garbage from my experience.
i really feel like all of the gun sound mods never fit the game. The acoustics are always really off, they always just sound like a gun being shot in a an empty warehouse
a vanilla/modded comparison would have been sweet, also it was a bit hard to understand what you were saying over the gunfight. but sweet vid otherwise
yeah, this video took me a long while to make and modding red dead is a pain in the ass. i planned to show comparisons but it wouldve taken too much time. also i thought i fixed the volume levels? looks like i forgot some sections, apologies.
I wish a mod would unpair the muzzle smoke from the tip of the barrel..smoke that goes out of the gun should not magically stick to the end of it LLRO seems very nuted btw
Most mods will break world spawns anyway and most of the graphic mods break the rendering. Keep it to some scripts mods or very light mods if you want the normal spawns of birds, trains and populated trolleys.
@@wakba6038 ??? none of the mods on here break anything. visualr works fine, so does every other mod on this list. if i have a problem with a mod i will clearly state it in the video
im looking for a mod that moves the weapon viewmodels closer to the middle while point aiming in first person, it feels like the stock is just a bit too far off to the right and a bit too low, and also to make the iron sights actually level, i've noticed that the front sight post is usually raised or lowered a bit compared to the rear sight, this is most visible on the m1899 pistol where the improved sight option removes the rear sight raiser which should give you a clear line of sight to the front sight post, but it doesnt, in this case it's visibly a lowered front sight post, in the case of the semi automatic pistol, the front sight post is very visibly raised a bit too high.
Great list! I'd say that LLRO is way better than Ped's Damage Overhaul. Not only is it better with animations, but it was also based on real footage (supposedly). I find that LLRO has perfected the animations, especially with shooting the legs and headshots. I'm pretty sure that if they are running or walking and you shoot them in the head, they will kind of stumble before dying, which is apparently very realistic. This also applies to vital organs. Not to mention that shooting vital organs will cause them to bleed out, obviously having hit an artery, and then they will whimper on the ground after stumbling for a bit, dying in a pool of their own blood. I'm not a psychopath, that's just a cool added realism detail for those realism fanatics. Also i'd suggest getting improved blood, it's a better version of WhyEm's bloodlust as it isn't over the top with blood and it's way more realistic. So if you make another list i'd suggest adding this one for the added realism.
Thank you for the feedback! I actually am good friends with the creator of LLRO, and sadly he’s faced some issues getting it to work with PDO, so the newer versions are halted for now. Also I will have to check out improved blood for myself. I plan to make a successor video to this soon. (My alt btw)
@retrosrobloxreviews9564 I edited the comment to say that I prefer LLRO comapred to PDO since I think I Wasn't clear before. I mean that I prefer LLRO as it's more realistic, not that I want both to work together well, since I don't like or use PDO.
@RetrOsModReviews off topic, but I have been creating a list of my own mods that enhance the "realistic experience" or whatever. I found one called penatration, which allows you to shoot through walls or objects. It applies only to wood really, but depending on the thickness of the object, the type of bullet, and the type of weapon you use will change how much it damages the person on the other side. It's pretty cool and surprisingly wasn't already in the game. There are also a few others, but they are mostly just random weird things that fix bugs or just change weird game mechanics. Also, in Vestigia, I find it's best to put very dark on with the optional settings. On top of that, you could also put the games' brightness calibration at the lowest, but it's "just" a bit too dark, lol. I put the dark calibration just until you can't see the Rockstar Logo. That way, the nights look pretty realistic and not like super bright like. Also, sorry for rambling on and on.
I need to cover penetration then. This was a really rough list and i was NOT expecting this video to blow up like it did. Im currently working on some facts about the red dead beta, so i think a realism modlist v2 will come after that.
goated mods. yet some missions are just impossible to complete with skirmish and fettle or they turn into a pure pain in the ass, since story NPC’s are affected by all the hellish damage received.. softcores with a heaaavily tweaked config with munitions is good enough if you’re doing the story
Turn off hud. This isn’t supposed to be mega mega super duper arma realism, this is just a little extra combat variety and realism while keeping the game fun. Next video after I finish the one I’m working on will have much more immersion, like basic needs and other things.

Realism mod list but still got those goofy aaa bullet trails
I'll probably find a mod to fix that. New realism modlist should come with more mods in the coming week or two. rn im working on an rdr2 beta thing
@@RetrOsModReviews excited to see and i may use some of these mods in my own game!
i call it fun with realism (not an actual collection yet)
Install the mod "No bullet trails", it can be found on nexusmods.
there’s a mod somewhere in nexus that gets rid of the bullet trails

"realism mod list" and it includes maverick weapons lmfao
1899 weapons is way too slow and unbalancing to the gameplay. tried munitions but it doesnt work very well.

Really not sure about the gun sound overhaul. The shotgun sounds awful apart from the echo effects.
its punchier i guess, and the reverb is a welcome change
I'm gonna stick to the fedhoria ragdolls, just cuz they're fun to use but other than that these mods are awesome.

how is your video quality so good man I feel like ive tried everything
I mean, there's not much to improve from Vanilla.
There is quite a bit. The biggest mod I'd reccommend myself is Maverick Weapons or LLRO. And trust me, there are even more mods that add needed stuff.

not sure if thats possible without fiddling with the source code, which we sadly dont have, but i could look it up for you in the next video.
I just want a hc mod that lowers enemy numbers and increase their accuracy & damage... Really tired of how casual the game is
"No bullet trails"
Should get that one as well yeah. I suffered a lot of burnout on this video so forgot to look for it. Thanks for the suggestion!
Why is the reloads still going fast?
I took offence to that last part
I think RWS is a better gun sound mod, because it also changes the npc’s gun sounds. RWAO doesn’t do that.
ooooo, I'll have to look into that. Thanks!

is there any way to disable that immersionbreaking bullet smoke trail effect?
