It’s hard to believe that still after 11+ years, I’d still be coming back to this video and loving it just as much as I did when I first heard it all those years ago.
The composer of Halo 5's music really likes to put a lot of strings in his tracks... I wouldn't be mad if he composes a Warthog Run Theme that sounds similar to that, in fact, I'll be very happy
Holy Covenant! This song is in-fucking-credible!!! Dude I am gonna give you major props on how good you did on the song. I wish i had a fraction of that talent for the music that i do in my version of fl studio 9XXL. Kudos to you Bro.
@dmitrytarabanov 64bit will give you access to more than 4Gb of RAM memory(32bit limit). I use 32bit but bridge mode allows access to more than 4 for the price of more CPU usage. Using Asio4All (in the audio settings) gives no delay and minimal pop and glitches during playback. You will have pops and clicks when your CPU hits near 95% usage and if your buffer length is too low.
It's true, music really does express which cannot be said. Obviously were all musicians here of some level, but then Mr. Marc Tardif lays this out for us..Truly this one took me around the world on a journey I didn't wanna come back from. The industry is blessed to have a creator like you AND your imagination. I think I'm going to need some 120 grit sandpaper to remove these chills your creation permanently raised on my skin. My hats off to you my friend.. It would be a kick in rear to meet you someday. God bless
Take in for a second that this could actually be modded to play on a Halo level and no one would be any the wiser to the fact that it isn't an official Halo theme. Yeah.
@dmitrytarabanov 1 - Win7 w/ Q6600 2.4Ghz Quad / 8GbRAM (some instances need bridged mode), AkaiMpk49 MIDI keyboard, F-V420 Microphone, 2.1 Sounds. 2 - Alt+V to display ghost channels (They have to be within the same pattern) 3 - You are RAM limited for large samples (ex: Pianos, master patches) and CPU limited to complex/numerous sounds. Also, Play instances take CPU and RAM just being loaded so using multi instr. in one instance helps. Reloading FL will clear out wasted RAM after a while.
@dmitrytarabanov Oh and I overclock my CPU to 3.1Ghz for composing. Hepls a TON! Also, I couldn't record AND play at the same time (way too much glitches!) so in the video only a couple of instruments are playing as reference and the rendered mp3 is added to the video.
oh my god, this sounds like it came from a the best symphony in the world playing this theme in a pelican parked in the uss enterprise E's bay at high warp wile in another world with an even better symphony riding a tartis into a wormhole getting sucked into a black hole! *BREATH* witch means... this is amazingly epic
Sounds more calm and uplifting than the original. The original seemed dark and mysterious (at least the opening). This version would be perfect for the Halo CE Mission "The Maw" and it's warthog run
@j0shter Yeah, I don't sell remixes so its okay for you to use it. I sent this on the forum like ADAMNAT0H suggested but treads only have 5 minutes of life time on it. Its a bit like "fire and forget". I don't know how to post on their blog. Anyway, thanks for asking.
@djlobb Oh sure it will! I need 33Gb for my version (Gold) but some versions can go up to 194Gb in size. Look up the details on soundsonline's website on Symphonic-Orchestra. I highly recommend more than 4Gb of RAM and a good multi core CPU as well.
Absolutely great job! Can you answer a few questions please? 1. What hardware and OS are you using, so EWQL PLAY 2 sounds without pops and clicks? 2. I noticed, the note blocks in Piano Roll are displayed from different patterns on the same screen (green and grey). Am I right? Can you tell me please, how do you make them appear in one Piano Roll for separate patterns/instruments? 3. Could you suggest any hint on how to optimize PLAY for FL Studio? Thank you! Wish you luck in your composing!
@lepape2 Thanks for the important piece of info! Can you give me a link to further reading about bridge mode please? (software? or Play options?) I have 3Ghz dual-core processor, so I think I can sacrifice its power for more RAM access. If I can solve the memory problem, I can go on composing :) Will grant you a copy of my album, as soon as I remaster it in FL Studio!
WOW I was completely suprised by the drums coming in, this is really impressive,, how long have you been making music? and how long did this remake take you? :D
that was the most incredible thing ive seen on fl studio
WOW 😮😳😳😳🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥰🥰😮😮👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Image-Line approves! Nice work lepape2 :)
It’s hard to believe that still after 11+ years, I’d still be coming back to this video and loving it just as much as I did when I first heard it all those years ago.
This could quite possibly be the best thing I have ever heard in FL Studio. Job well done. 11/10.

Lol halo 6 main menu theme song CONFIRMED!!! :D
Jakob Mcquiggan 2 years ago... you've been waiting haven't you
Halo infinite's main menu music
The composer of Halo 5's music really likes to put a lot of strings in his tracks... I wouldn't be mad if he composes a Warthog Run Theme that sounds similar to that, in fact, I'll be very happy
This is so good, I think if you replaced the actual halo theme with it no one would even notice.
Didn't expect much and was pleasantly surprised. This is very impressive, great mix.
Holy Covenant! This song is in-fucking-credible!!! Dude I am gonna give you major props on how good you did on the song. I wish i had a fraction of that talent for the music that i do in my version of fl studio 9XXL. Kudos to you Bro.
Fantastic,I got the chills.
Your music almost make it look like a side scrolling halo game :)
You sir, deserve a medal.
And a Nobel Prize.
+gedsaz here reclaimer take this ancient foruner but plug
i am absolutely amazed by this. well done.
This song was so awesome it took my phone 15 minutes to buffer through the whole thing. But this song was definitely worth the wait! :)
@dmitrytarabanov

Wow... Amazing... Pure Amazing.
This is actually amazing I "accidentally" watched it 7 times.
Nice job man, it's good to see FL and EW working to make something that sounds this good, too many people trash FL

You should submit this into the Bungie Blog when they get back from their holiday vacation!
Hope...

Very good! Props to you!
After I got my driver's license this was the first thing I listened to after no longer needing a parent with me.
@GravityProductionz Looks like EWQL PLAY Symphonic Orchestra for strings. And perhaps percussion from EWQL PLAY Stromdrum 2.
Halo FTW!!!
Sounds more calm and uplifting than the original. The original seemed dark and mysterious (at least the opening).
This version would be perfect for the Halo CE Mission "The Maw" and it's warthog run

Any ideas of where to find percussion like the stuff you used in this vid? Great job by the way!
Also, you should most certainly be the composer for Halo 6.
Absolutely great job!
