Those are some good looking IK’s. Glad they are your background :). Tnx for showcasing these pads. Look awesome and love HF. Going to check them out today. Merry Christmas fab to you and the fam
I like that they put the cut type on the backing. For people that don't use their pads often it definitely helps in knowing what you're using at a later date.
Looks like HF has upped their pad game. I know I tried their foam pads 4-5 years ago and backing wanted to come unglued after just one vehicle. Merry Christmas Brian to you and family.
Happy holidays! These new pads are looking good. It's nice to see manufacturers sticking to pad color standards (blue compound, yellow buffing, black finishing, etc); I tend to avoid pads with confusing colors.
I thought about HF pads for my old boat, the gel coat has a few chips and scratches, I figured if I kill a pad polishing my boat I won’t cry over it lol, thanks Brian 👍😁
Those pads perform really well, great value for money when you consider they are manufactured by lake country, DIY detail pads were once made by lake country, but the partnership ended !🇬🇧
Merry Christmas 🎄 🎄 🎄
@@1stfrompuertorico568 Merry Christmas to you too!
Pretty good cut. And doesn’t look hazy
@@jfarm_1311 Not bad at all! I was rather impressed
@ harbor freight has come a long way in the last several years in a lot of ways
Great video man! Thanks for sharing the info
@@finaltouchautodetailingllc Thank you!
@FABAutomotiveDetailing no problem, I enjoy watching your videos, I get too busy working and don't have time catch up on my favorite content creators.
Great demo! Very interesting, definitely pads to consider
Love the color of your truck. Thank you for sharing!! Happy holidays!!!

Yes most definitely a nice looking color
Nice vid and I also like diy detail sprayable polish
@@KRensch45 Thank you!
Ill have to check out my local HF to see if they have those pads and the foam pads. Thanks FAB for pointing these out.
@@richsmith3120 They didn’t have them out on the shelf yet but showed in stock at my store online so they had to go to the back to get them.

Love that you are back to making more videos 🤌🙌.
@@klaimster3184 Thanks!
Wow, these things did awesome all things considered! Great demo! I'll have to pick some up here locally an give em a go! Great video!
@@PapaSmurf918Detail They did great in my opinion also. $5 a pad is a steal. Thanks brother
I will have to order them by mail or wait when I get to MTE to get to one of their stores in Florida since we don't have Harbor Freight here.
@FABAutomotiveDetailing Yeah 5 bucks.. don't have to order. It's a win for me
Would like to see how they work on a flex

@@lrodecw Machine doesn’t really matter on a pad.
Awesome , I haven't had a chance to pass by local HF . Been wanting to pick these up

How much area can you get done with that ryobi polisher I do alot of new paint cutting and buffing on restoration and custom paint jobs
@@rongamble9884 Not a lot as it’s a short throw. It’s great for all in ones but I use other machines for cutting.

Why the hole in the center?
@@fiouable For cooling the pad and lining up the pad on the backing plate so it’s centered. I mentioned it in the video.

Now their buff & shine
It seems like Buff N Shine is making buffing pads for a few new companies from comparing the ones I have.
@@aldaley3537 Yeah I’m not sure but has to be one of the bigger companies like Buff N Shine or Lake Country.
Microfiber materials cost more to produce and they give you 2 for the price of 1 foam. I can’t wrap my head around who priced these.
@@teslamr7333 Yeah they must of gotten a good deal on the microfibers.
First!!!!
@@1stfrompuertorico568 🏆
Microfiber cuts very aggressively., and really heats the clear coat….no need for microfiber. Use wool, your better off
@@tony8354586 You need some heat to correct paint. Microfiber works great and when done right doesn’t over heat the surface.
