Just to add, 1. Did you know: "F" is the hotkey (by default) to pause/unpause the selected building, so Shift + F on a selected building will also pause/unpause all buildings of that same type. - If you have some buildings off, some on, double Shift + F is useful when you want to turn all of them back on. 2. Did you know: The Shift-click ship commands also work with picking up flotsams & attack orders, quite convenient to queue up pick-up quests and leave it, then tick the notification pop-up when it's done. - Can't shift-click diving orders though. 3. Did you know: There are many QOL settings & shortcuts in the options menu, not only further zoom out but also things like auto-accept all visitors from all public moorings, only place farm fields on irrigated tiles for Enbesa. Worth the time going through the menus and set what suits you best. 4. Did you know: The right-click wheel can be customised by dragging a building icon from the building menu into a slot on the wheel. Can't unassign an item but you can put duplicates. This is a convenient tool for big builds. Say I'm decorating and I put brick roads, pavings, and hedges as they're frequently used, when I'm building my industry, I'll put railroad, power plant, warehouse, fire stations. 5. Did you know: There's also shortcut slots in the build menu next to the demolish/move/dropper/move icons. Not only you can drag and drop buildings into it, you can also put whole production chains for quick access. 6. On the same place but over in the ships menu, did you know those ten slots corresponds to the Shift 1 to 0 hotkey assignment? You can right click to unassign. - The assignment is region specific, so if you two ships assigned to Shift 1, one in OW one in NW and when you send over the OW ship, the that ship assignment will become number 2 (or the next available slot) 7. Did you know: The top resources bar (above the workforce) can also be customised, you can drag & drop a resource from the warehouse menu to replace the ones there, or you can simply click on the icons the top and select which resource to show. - It can be any resource known to you at that point in time. - It's island specific, so you can set each island to show different resources on its ticker. - Useful to keep track of resources other than construction materials. Say I have industrial island (like Lusk) just for producing steel & brass related goods, I can put steel bars & brass on the ticker to keep track of its stock levels 8. Did you know: This vid of tips & tricks is awesome? edit: added more points, sorry for the wall of text x)
Another huge didyakno is on the statistics menu you can ctrl/shift click to select multiple islands. This way you can select your engineer island and your coffee island at the same time and match the green bar up with the blue bar even more efficiently!!!!
The only QOL thing I'd really love to see is a global "Set minimum stock" for all the goods on an island or to be able to select multiple goods and set the limit for all selected, not going to each and every one of them. Same for buy/sell.
I love this game, it's so chill. It's cool to play competitive games, but some days you don't want to be at the edge of your seat all the time with twitch reflexes, you just wanna relax for a while. This game gives you just that. My only issue is that I always panic a little bit whenever I'm in deficit even if I have millions saved, it's like I can't stand seeing a negative red number. Reason why I hate playing with things like horde factions in TW games.

Started to watch you about a week ago and am up to the newest Ep. Perfect time for this tipps video - just gonna make some notes... xD Amazing work! Love it. Thank you for sharing!
The naming your trade routes is by far the best tip in this video. At first not so mutch as u most likly have more then 1 type of goods per ship. But mid game when u have 8+ routes per region and especially for cross region routes, finding the 1 u want becomes a HUGE issue as u will do alot of tweeking in what and how mutch they carry. So naming them as new world (NW) old world (OW) Cape Trelawney (Cape) becomes a very big deal. So by typing in 2 letters u can now filter away around 66% of your routes that would only clutter up the meny.

When building fields for a farm, holding shift allows you to build more fields than the limit, very handy for ornament placement. Speaking of ornaments, a video dedicated to making your city feel realistic would be great. Those are my favourite moments of your let's play and have been playing them on x0.25 trying to follow them. Still worth it !
