- This mod is insane, putting Kris, Susie and Ralsei into the world of Sonic! It puts them all into Sonic Robo Blast 2, a fanmade sonic game that's in 3D! So, how will these Deltarune Characters work in this new 3D environment, and what other Deltarune surprises are along the way?

I seriously love the detail in this and the extra speed you can get by combining each characters respective moves.

SRB2 has to be one of the most moddable games in the world, which is unsurprising, considering it itself is a mod of Doom.

FYI the secret only triggers on the actual key X, not anything bound to Custom 2
Also, I love the effort they made for this mod. They did more than necessary, which just shows how much the mod maker loves Deltarune. I too love Toby Fox's work in his games. He puts so much love and effort into his games, and tackles subjects most games are too much of a coward to do so. I wanted to say more, but I've got nothing more, so I'll awkwardly end it here
The Special Stages in SRB2 are literally NiGHTS into dreams... stages, its funny as heck. Especially when you then insert Lancer of all people.
Also Susie has apparently played Sonic 2XL

aside from ralsei being able to fly, it's nice how they made sonic, tail and knuckles into kris ralsei and susie respectively without it looking too out of place

Word of advice, the game won't save if you have mods loaded by default - you'll have to use a Save File Mod in conjunction to preserve your savegame
Those Special Zone segments with Lancer being playable there with this mod? It's a NiGHTS reference, specifically NiGHTS into Dreams, which is fitting because this mod is being applied to Sonic Robo Blast 2, and as many fans of SEGA's franchises know, NiGHTS is another SEGA game franchise

This mod alone is going to get me to play SRB2 finally.
Fun fact, in that Castle Boss fight if you use Susie, you can destroy all of Robotnik's spiky balls! And if you do that, he just straight up gives up and leaves, letting you win without ever attacking him. That's like the most deltarune thing ever hahah, winning peacefully
I never thought I would see 2 fandoms I'm fixated with meet each other through an srb2 mod but I'm so happy for this
i like the fact it's a standard heroes team
Kris is a speed character, who's job is to gain speed and go fast
Ralsai is a flight character who is used to go through vast bottomless pits and upwards mobility
and Susie is a power character who specialize is dealing damage
15:50 A funny thing is in the final demo era (from 2003 to 2009), Castle Eggman was the final zone (the level designs for all the levels were different back then though, and Deep Sea Zone wasn't in the demo)
I think if SRB2 was split into two parts, the first part would be the first 4 zones, and the 2nd part would be Arid Canyon, Red Volcano, Dark City (when it's in SRB2), Egg Rock, and Black Core. (and whatever the Super Sonic final boss zone will be called)
Amazing how they animated their 2d sprites into a 3d environment based on camera angles and so fourth.
btw to let you know undertale will be coming to this game too it's in development after the deltarune characters release!
Susie: Pretty weak character when navigating through the levels but OP on bossfights
Ralsei: It can go really high and can skip a lot of the platforming easily

Deltachars my beloved. Easily one of the best SRB2 addons.
You probably didn't realise this, but Susie's Red Buster actually does double damage compared to everything else, which is a game changer since there's no way to do that with the vanilla characters, and the bosses take a lot of hits.
Also, if you do decide to continue with the mod, be aware that the final zone is *very* difficult. The Fun Gang makes it a lot easier because they're so powerful, but it's still very tough!
Also, having beaten the game with the Deltarune characters twice already, I can confirm that playing as them is very fun and very fast when you know what you're doing. :)
Imagine a "pacifist route" where you pacify and "spare" every single robot on the level as ralsei, given how he doesnt destroy the robots
Dude, I spent 12 1/2 mins sparing every badnick on the first act, so worth it
If you do another srb2 video, you should go into the video settings and turn on OpenGL rendering and change the resolution to fit your screen size. It makes the game look a lot better.
I absolutely love Sonic Robo Blast 2 so having all The Delta Warriors is amazing

This dialogue is pure gold and sounds exactly like what kris and the gang would actually say in a place like this. Probably my favorite mod for this game that I've seen so far.

Oddly enough, sonic robo blast 2 runs on a heavily modified version of doom. So it's deltarune in sonic in a doom engine.

Technically a mod of the doom ENGINE, doom itself isn't required to play SRB2 since it only uses the engine, which is open-source and able to be freely redistributed.

Love seeing SRB2 content, when I played this mod I loved it! I really hope you play the main content of the game and even play the bonus levels (which, considering you don't really have a save file I assume, will require some emblem grinding). I loved their reactions in Azure Temple, personally.

I have evidence for this too, in the hospital in deltarune, if you interact with the piano, "Kris" presses one note and the guy at the counter comments that Kris used to be really good at piano

so for when you play again this basically plays as the team sonic
kris is speed category
ralsei is flight category
susie is strength category
its like sonic tails and knuckles and in gameplay wise
knuckles lacks speed thats why susie isnt that good for levels
sonic is not that good for vertical thats why kris is better on slopes
and tails im not fully sure i guess offensive so thats why pacify isnt that easy to use with ralsei
