In this video, I look for a difficult Deltarune Challenge and oh boy do I get one in the form of an absolutely brutal mod for the game. This is the story of a timeline where Kris gets a bit more injured from their fall into the Dark World, and one where their journey is much, much harder because of it. After all, everybody bleeds right? Can Deltarune's hardest challenge truly be beaten?

I'm the guy that balanced the mod for Chapter 2
It was great seeing you play through this mod!
This inspired us to update the mod to make Jevil possible and to rebalance it for Chapter 2, as it's a bit easier than Chapter 1
(but Spamton NEO is already possible, unlike Jevil)
for example, the boxing fights are currently unaffected by the mod
I'm excited to see you struggle through Chapter 2!
We're also currently working on a Hardmode mod, which changes each battle in unique ways to make them much harder
We already have some VERY difficult Jevil and Spamton NEO fights there, but a lot of other fights have also already been changed
also I didn't remember Lancer being so difficult, so I tested it and first tried the fight lol
You guys should change Kris’s name in-game to Everybody, since; “Everybody Bleeds”

Also, in hard mode, the Choco Diamond should be replaced by a single buy item, the MeltedChoco.

Fun fact: Susie doesn't use her "axe" attacks in the Susie and Lancer fight if you use the "Lullaby" act on her
You can't do that normally without hacking right?
@@ScottPIayz ...No? It's just in the game and it's the only way to complete that fight peacefully, otherwise Susie stops you from speaking to Lancer.
@@moppermop5287 If you keep trying to compliment Lancer then you just end up telling Ralsei to compliment him super quickly, so Susie doesn't get the chance to block his ears.

funnily enough all his other attacks are incredibly easy even with this crazy mod

@@aliell6418 Funnily enough, his hardest attack is probably the prank call where he hits himself with his own attack. It goes on for ages and give absolutely zero bullets to graze

The thought of having just that massive blob of (most likely melted) chocolate in your pocket is definitely a funny one.
Like, just grabbing a chunk of the (now) goop, taking a massive bite out of it, and stuffing the rest back into your pocket, all while bleeding out

carry a spoon with you and you have a snack
The second attack of Jevil is definitely possible in this challenge. You can dodge the spade circle by going inside it, which gives you a lot of TP. It is tricky, but it can be done consistently with practice
But the fight is still impossible, since the final attack takes ages (and also, devilsknife)

Fun fact: You can end the fight with the king faster: when using red buster spam z and it will do aproximatly 300 damage whenever you do it

the first jevil attack is not random. they actually hone in on you. even if it was random, there isn't much variation

@@dashdoesstuff9763 Yes I was referring to this. The direction jevil throws the bullets in isn’t random at all, but the position he spawns/teleports to and the distance away from the soul he is are both random which greatly affect survivability. Sorry for not making it more clear!
@@PkLUIGI To be fair even Toby Fox says “Chaos is just order that hasn’t been understood yet”. That refers to most of Jevil’s battle actually being scripted (Pirouette script is the prime example) and a possibility of Chaos and Order being the same element. So in a way that actually fits

Considering your health goes down more when you get hit, and it constantly goes down by 1, it's really like karma damage.

This challenge is very tough and it seems to take a lot more skill than expected after looking into it further. Knowing how fast Kris' HP is depleting and that if they die it's an immediate game over you'll have to make sure you graze through every single attack or pretty much risk getting hit all the time

i do believe the second attack is possible, as there's this ultimate grazing method used in no-hit runs. i think the main bottleneck with jevil would be the merry-go-round ones. everything else is super grazable

A small note, you dont need to go in a spiral for his second attack you can line yourself up to dodge the first spades then move slightly left and right.
Love how Ralsei never heals your wounds and stop the bleeding.... once
This is the toughest challenge I've ever seen. I have no idea how you are going to do chapter 2
21:52 I can't speak for the rest of the fight, but this attack can be cheesed by moving to the top left and barely moving when you need to

love the editing! the intro was pretty cool with the battles playing in the background in sync with the music, as well as the music fading in when the lancer+susie and the king's battles are about to start, also how you used c-r-o-w-n-e-d from krtd instead of chaos king cause i love kirby and that song

This whole challenge has probably only made one person happy and it was the one Rudinn selling choco diamonds
What I'm curious about is the GameBanana screencap at the beginning where you showcase the thumbnail of this mod, the encounter randomizer and "Deltarune, but it's raining". Apparently the latter mod makes it so there's always rain (both during battles and in the overworld) which damages the player. I honestly want to see someone cover that mod.

Yeah the ribbit mod has been brought up a lot to me and I watched a friend play through it - it honestly looks pretty good! Normally I’d play it on the channel but since I try to keep things relatively kid friendly on here I don’t think it would be a good fit unfortunately

In the second attack in the jevil fight, I think that if you are able to stay in the corner of the box you can survive the attack quite easily. Since the spades aren't able to reach you, if you stay still you can heal.
If I were you I would have exchanged the top cake for the spin cake because you can get an unlimited amount of them for free from the chef and if you're concerned about it having less healing than just remember that by chapter 2 it heals the same amount

a tip for jevil: in the spades circle attack, instead of going around the spades you can just hug a wall and stay in the holes between the spades, that way, you will graze like 6 times while almost not moving
Fun fact: jevils second attack can be cheesed by just not moving and putting yourself in a gap between two spades, grazing a bunch of them. I dont know if it would be nearly enough to beat jevil, but if someone wants to try, here you go

the mod got a balance update to make jevil possible, I'd love to see you try it out!
Even more painful addition to the challenge: From the time you enter the Field to the time you finish the King fight, you start to lose 1 HP per second on the overworld. If any directional input is pressed, the counter increases twice as fast. This affects your starting HP in the next battle. If it drops below 0, you die. You also lose 3 HP per second during your turn in battles, except attacking. You must also finish the King fight with 85 or more HP, and any less will kill you during the cutscene to seal the dark fountain.

I literally discovered a fnaf vr fangame because of me finding a channel that covered it because i searched up "froodle" after misreading one of King's battle dialogue as "Begone! We have fresh froodle."
What is the music you used in the king fight?
wonder if spamton neo is possible since it took way less tries to beat and i practically gave up on the jevil fight in my normal playthrough
the audio broke at the king fight, you sound like a chipmunk at that point for a second. Audio is hard to handle, I wish people could make that easier.
I got an idea but I don’t have the time to do it nor have played Deltarune enough to see if this works but is it possible to beat chapter 1 with only Ralsei? I know you need kris to act many things but can Ralsei just scarf attack through everything?
I've tried that before, it's definitely possible if you exclude K. Round.
