I bought all the retro games I wanted in 2018. Now is insane the prices those games are going for. I dont blame people emulating just to experience the classics.
I want to see your entire game collection! I love retro games, I started collecting in 2008, I stopped hunting for retro games, I still buy new games, I just spent 1600 US dollars on Black Friday all in gaming.

Great Video. I also have been back collecting PS3 & PS4 titles. Bought a nice used PS3 Console etc. Spend maybe a bit too much. But at this point in my life, 45, and working a full time job, not much time to game till days off or a few hours here n there, I don't think I will ever catch up. Now it's finding the time. I got 2 PS3 super slim this year. One almost for free, because the seller included quite a big Move collection with controllers, charging station and games. I knew I can sell this for a good price. And so I did. Before that I played the heck out of it. 🙂
Yeah there are mainly 2 routes for game collecting:
1 - buy when you want to play
2 - buy now, play later
I'm "route 2" too! At game launches it's often at a lower price at some stores. Also some sales during the years: black friday and after Xmas for examples but also some minor sales here and there, maybe a store is celebrating 10 years or whatever. Good opportunity to buy more games.
I'm only trying to buy games that I'm really sure that I gonna play.
Sometimes I buy a 2nd copy to have as an investment.

I like this guy personally and I watch him for that, but man is he a sad case. I am a huge collector also (not of physical media but I have the collecting gene so I understand) - difference is I own a house and have my life set up. He mentions in another vid that he doesn't ever plan on buying a house because its all too hard. No shit when you're spending thousands on this stuff simply because you want it "available to you". His comment at 4:00 sums this up for me. Spending all this money for the off chance you want to play a game you already have "on the go".
@jettycomlego same on original statement. Going onward sure but it's nitpicking although justified however we are all guilty of stupid stuff on other levels. For us to see his on full display with no apologies but full transparency it's really easy for us to attack and well that's not an issue personally when it makes me reflect upon myself and look for weaknesses that I ignore within myself.
Anyway I think it's a very safe bet this guy can reach a point of being done/slowing down by 80%. I know that feel very well "it's never enough"
Let's be real this guy doesn't ever have to do a "new pick up video" when he has a lot of content at arms reach

Dont see the point in buying modern physical games. With retro the full product is there, regardless of internet. Most modern games, theres barely any data on the media, your still downloading the game and needing to day one patch, etc. Your just taking up space with a cased license key basically. The disc becomes useless if 1 of the major companies ever shuts down their network that allows you to download, patch, and play that game.
