I started watching yugioh videos again this week. Man, this video made me remember the good old times when I had this dino deck back in 2017. Glad to see you're still here making the best content!
If you get Impermed on Wyvern summon in the first combo you get Apoloussa pass. But if that’s Nibirud or Gammad on the Wyvern you get UCT pass. However by simply summoning Rex instead of Petite off the Baby popped with Scrap you end on UCT and any Rank 4 minimum. Through Nibiru, Gamma or Imperm and if they don’t have it you end on the same board. Secondly you should link off Animadorned Archosaur for Link Kuriboh before making Wyvern. That way if the Wyvern gets Impermed your Evo Pill is live. These changes are small but lead to an extra 1-2 interruptions through hand traps and don’t affect the overall outcome so there’s no reason not to do it.
Thing with Nemeses keystone is that you can easily create a Naturia beast with Scraptor in adition to a great endboard, its not only for recycling misc
Omega puts misc back in the gy. But keystone puts it back in the deck where you can draw it or search it to use its protection and banish effect again. I think keystone is much more useful then omega. But I play them both.

Keystone is an unsearchable Rock Monster (unless you play Granite like an ape) that makes you rely on drawing the Misc or a way to search it after the first turn, as well as drawing Keystone and not bricking on it. While I will admit I will miss Miscs protection late-game and is one of my major complaints about the limit, it's much more important to have it available in GY to have a guarantee to special your Ovi rather than just a chance to do so. Omega helps not only by doing that but also by being an incredibly generic level 8 Synchro that you can access at basically any time, and conveniently even as your first summon if your Misc gets Ashed in GY and you have Gamma, though more likely as part of the combo.
Back in highschool my friend Edwin would play dinos he would lose most of the time(hydro was probably the best dino at that time other than the beaters). He was the youngest of the group so we all graduated and moved on with our lives but I had high hopes for Edwin to carry on the yugioh torch and thought he reminded me of myself as a young duelist(were all in our late 20s early 30s). Last I saw him he had a very meta dino deck and wiped us all lol we weren't prepared. Unfortunately he got covid and after 6 weeks he passed away. He had dinos from the beginning to the end. I wish I can duel him right now.. just wanted everyone to know we lost a brother today.

Ive got a dino deck that can otk on the 1st turn of the match. All u have to do is get rid of sum of the generic stuff u play that every deck plays now
Here is a tip: Because u become 1 monster short when u open this same combo with a petit instead of a baby, Amaterasu as a way of recurring is great and is what u make instead of the omega and apolousa. Ur end board becomes a Savage, any rank 4, uct, and Amaterasu with recurrense. U also get additional recurrense with this card through misc and any other lv4 monster u banished like possibly ur chimera
Obviously side decks depend on local meta, but what would you recommend as a good base side deck. I'm not super familiar with all the meta cards atm, I'm just getting into yugioh since I last played as a kid like 15 years ago, but I am coming from a competitive MTG background.
The two decks that I mainly play are dinos and heroes and I don't understand why misc was hit. I just replaced him with 2 crackdowns because I'm the worst deck brewer in the world.
topdecking a follow up is much easier when half your deck is in the graveyard, field and hand. "not the best way to play yugioh" is a little redundant when the ratios left in your deck are like 50% search cards. keystone is much better because you can make naturia beast with the scrap raptor, along with the savage, a 3 mat apollausa and a UTC. keystone is searchable with gallant granite. so its far more consistent than you think
Hey Sam, what do you think about playing pot of acquisitiveness? I know its the same issue with it returning the banished cards to the deck but its a quick play and its a draw card!
I run that I'm still testing. The only thing is that you kinda have to wait later into the game like turn 2 or 3 maybe even 4 so it's a late turn and has a chance to get negated. It's a brick first turn
I won locals today cuz keystone. Going second against skystriker, Fossil digged, got drolled so I normaled scraptor, summoned keystone I had in hand, made nat beast. Put misc back in the deck, set imperm. it gave me one more turn in a simplified gamestate. Had double fossil dig from the jump. Ripped it and combos off again
Why not run Different Dimension Burial and add misc back to your hand. That’s essentially the same 9 copies as before plus you get whatever else was banished to make UCT
When I was starting out I actually got a dino deck accidentally when I bought some 20 card packs. I haven't played in a while though especially competitive. I'm running a Rock deck currently.

I play one keystone because you doesnt Brick with that in your hand that you can shuffle back the misc is just okey but you get a free monster for apolousa with 4 negates or for natural beast
I finally bit the bullet and got a copy of scrap chimera to utilise the scrap engine. Just need accesscode and impermanence and I'm good to go :) Great profile man will definitely be trying this out.

He's talking about borrelsword dragon and yeah, it's a lot cheaper. I don't think you can replace chimera or animadorned. Impermanence isn't hardly needed so you can drop it.

Sam have you looked into playing caligo claw crow? Just another option to have in your deck for animadorned effect, allows you to make the simorgh play very easily aswell
The board you end up with the keystone is way more broken.5 monsters negations plus naturia beast plus tyranno plus keystone at hand for a free tyranno effect and you will still have 3 cards at hand.
With drident banned, tri-brigade zoo is still one of the better performing variants you just turbo into zues off your zoo package, rescue cat in the current format is way too vulnerable to hand traps going first and is most likely not going to resolve going second.
People act like the problem is getting Misc in your hand... Bro the problem is having it in the late game. Which, contrary to popular belief, happens way more often than you think. If you go first and get your board broken, you have little comeback ability unless you topdeck. Hence why Omega is being made a lot more now lmaoo
this question is for the viewers since sam prob wont answer. what the point of using Pot of Disparity if you cant draw cards using card effects? doesnt that totally invalidate the combo?
There is a difference between add and draw you can still add cards even if you used prosperity ( like fossil dig ) But you can't draw by card effects ( like using pot of desires ) . :)

What does keystone do for you though? It’s not searchable unless you splash the xyz monster, which could’ve been a dolkka that you’re wasting for an extender that you went out of your way for.
@@tallyho836 again though, why? Using granite to search keystone still leaves you with 2 materials, which is the exact same number of materials you used to summon granite. It doesn’t actually put you at an engine advantage to use it when you could’ve gone for a better play.
Okay, now what about a WCS banlist compliant deck? What to replace the third Fossil Dig for? Edit: just checked the new OCG banlist, they do have 3 Fossil Digs but a single Oviraptor

dinowrestler giga spinosavate is also a great synchro addition to add in your extra deck since scrap raptor’s a Dino tuner.
I loved making him even before scrap! I just like a Dino synchro but most of the time he only comes out if they broke the first board

The fact its target 3 cards instead of up to 3 cards imo makes it unviable
To be honest, if you want to shuffle more than just Misc back, you'd be better off playing Qoatlus at that point.
Use burial from a different dimension. It puts it back in the graveyard

Sam, why don't you keep 1 tyranno infinity in your deck. At end game, that card is a solid 8k beater.
Because we have no grind game, especially with misc at 1. You're very rarely ever going to make it far enough for that card to be useful.

yeah basically. pick up a few dolkkas, archosaurs, and double evo pills too and you should have the main core

A good deck profile I personally would like to see, is the best variant of the Tribrigade (even if its just pure tribrigade) and their combos 😈
