I actually spend my time in prayer listening to audio scripture, or grace purpose TH-cam videos, and worship music as I get ready for the day. Do my skin care and put on some make up! On Sundays for church is when I look my best! I feel I’m getting dressed up for my date with the Lord (this might sound insane to some) but it’s just my feeling as a 39 year old single never married no children woman. Even in worship when I close my eyes it’s like I am slow dancing with my Heavenly Father. So wearing a beautiful long skirt and doing my hair, wearing my best jewellery for church just personally feels right for me!
My dad is a rocker, grew up into kiss. Grew up on goth music, angsty destructive and hypersexual as it gets. When I experienced godd grace I immediately became classical in my taste. Studying piano now . Style is changing becoming lighter in color and essence
I’m Pentecostal and we don’t jewelry,make up etc. and when I first joined my church, I thought that was so crazy but after a few weeks/months I felt convicted of it and I just didn’t like to wear them anymore
I go out with and without makeup depending on the occasion. I'm naturally beautiful so no matter whether I wear it or not I get attention. I love wearing makeup because it's therapeutic for me because it's art and I love the masterpiece I created staring back at me in the mirror 😍😂 I don't wear a lot tho it looks natural and it just enhances my beauty not completely changes my look ❤ Update: Ok I don't feel comfortable wearing full face makeup now, it feels like a mask. I believe God wants me to embrace my natural beauty and to stop being insecure. Glory be to God Amen ❤

I can tell the difference between me before Jesus and now, I used to be obsessed with makeup and bought so much....now I barely buy new ones but now its more minimalist its still my face my features don't change I used to wear it to change my shape, my beauty comes from the fear of the Lord and I want my outside to look pure and feminine I want people to see Jesus in my eyes and the way I carry myself. I do take care of my skin and its worth more than gobs of makeup. I go out not wearing make up at times but i remember one time when I was pregnant and super exhausted i wasn't getting sleep, I was at the grocery store and this Mormon lady looked at me in concern and asked me if i was low in iron because of how dark my eyes looked, I told her giggling no I have dark circles naturally and I have not been getting good sleep so that's why I look dreadful, I took this opportunity to share the gospel with her Im glad God used this for His glory even though for a minute i did feel insecure but life is not about me but God.
Makeup is often conducive to pride and deception, but for many it's not for seduction. For me it was to cover skin imperfections, and I wore just a little. Modesty was always essential for me. No need for jewelry, skin baring, rock music, or tight clothes. I get ready much faster without it and save foundation and mascara for special occasions.
hey girl idk if you're going to see this but i wanted to say i gasped when you mentioned lana del rey she's been kinda of an idol for me for such a long time and honestly going through this journey with CHRIST and leaving the music,the series and the celebrities and just everything else that does not examplify GOD has been really hard and i know the narrow road is not supposed to be easy this video showed up on my recommendations and its like GOD knew i had to hear it. I unfollowed the majority of artists i used to listen to im getting into worship music and just changing myself. If you have dark under eye circles you have to eat red meat or eggs everyday
